"See, I told you you'd hate me." The way Danny Miller managed to work into his voice the mixture of immediate rejection of her disaproval and simultaneous yearning for it is astonishing. You could hear it in the character's voice: "You hate me, I don't care, yet you're my mother and I love. Please love me."

Danny Miller nails it every time. He´s like too good. Love Chas and Aaron and Paddy´s scenes, always.Andy and Robert had great stuff together in this.
@louisemacallister65618 жыл бұрын
Andy and Robert's scenes were intense to watch but seeing Aaron break down in front of Chas was very emotional - he had carried the guilt for months and you could hear the pain in his voice when he talked about Robert - "You know the worst part of it is? I fell in love with him" - that part was heartbreaking because you could tell despite everything, Aaron never stopped loving him. Danny, Ryan and Kelvin were incredible in this episode.

For all the stupid shit Robert has done I still can't hate him. I mean i want to, but I just can't. He's my favorite character and I feel so damn sorry for him.

Uhm... Andy said everything. Robert was protecting himself. He does love Aaron... but it wasn't enough for him to change the perceived life he wanted. And those kind of people are the most dangerous ones. The ones who doesn't know what they want. Because they'll spin you around like a top, and would topple you because you moved against their tune.
@sarah4hp6 жыл бұрын
+Jakeylicious - HOW was he protecting himself??? If he had just thrown Aaron under the bus, and made sure he took his part of the blame, he might have been able to take some of the heat off of himself, but he chose to take ALL the blame himself and pretend like Aaron basically wasn't a part of it at any point.

Ryan and Kelvin work so well together that the scenes between Robert and Andy are gold, whether they're arguing, being supportive or hitting each other. You can actually feel the history between them, a dark history filled with death, betrayal and resentment, but also love. And with Victoria caught in the middle of them, with Robert being the only remaining blood link she has to her dad and Andy being the brother she was closer to these past 10 years, it's altogether a fascinating family dynamic and it works. Give me more of the Sugdens, Emmerdale!

OMG! Just when I think I couldn't love Danny Miller anymore than I already do he does a scene like this and leaves me speechless! Of course we all know what this is leading up to...A "Who shot Robert?" Storyline which will probably run to Christmas...fine by me as long as Aaron gets more screen time!

This is why people should stop the lame nonsense of comparing that's only used to defense and deflect. Good for Andy and his self-control, assuming the poor excuse for a human being doesn't push during Andy's most vulnerable moment....

Omg, Robert, shut up. Silence is a virtue. Use it! People like him never know when to stop. When they're lying, they have to keep going. When they're telling the truth, it's such a rare unburdening of their soul that it just keeps tumbling out. They can't help themselves. Altho...he is right and Andy is one of the biggest hypocrites around but Andy's speaking from a place of grief at the moment so I'll give him a pass. And it's never fair to compare tragedies. It's just distasteful. Lachlan give me the creeps. There is something so very wrong with that child. Like Finn on H.O. Kudos to the actor for portraying his character so well.

Is it just me... but is it weird that Robert never shed a tear in most of his scenes. I've seen him getting teary eyed, but not the waterworks you'd expect from someone who just admitted himself of committing murder. I'm not sure if it's the actor, or if it's the character but it's just odd. Really. Odd.

+Laety They don't show All of what Aaron told Chaz they don't want to bore the audience with a complete re-hash of the truth. Emmerdale does leave out entire conversations were we have to assume the facts are being re-told and some of those i've wished they had let us see. But you got to hear Robert LIE to Andy and make it sound like Aaron wasn't even there ,to Protect Aaron . I was mad at Aaron for telling Andy that Katie was going to leave him that was a lie . I've been re-watching Aaron & Robert's clips
