26th GCMGC at Clement Town during the pandemic

The exile Tibetan diaspora's most anticipated sporting event, the GCM Gold cup's 2021 edition goes on despite a year of postponement and the looming threat of the Covid-19 pandemic in Dhondupling Tibetan settlement or Clement town as it is known popularly.
The organisers this year have gone to unprecedented lengths including combating the virus and preparing a grass turf, a tournament first, while players have braved the pandemic and travelled from various corners to participate in this annual sporting event that is loved and cherished by Tibetans world over.
