My great grandfather was one of those men! Col. George A. Roberts, Commander of the 104th infantry. I never knew about Apremont Memorial Park or of the monument until I saw this video! I’ll be stopping by to see it soon!

My Great Grandfather was a Corporal in 104th Infantry. Amazing to think that he was in these battles & possibly in footage of the 104th somewhere...just amazing.

My Grandfather was in the unit. He died before I was born and being able to see footage like this is so awesome. Does anyone know where this footage came from?

It would be great to get the 26th Division song as written by Connell Albertine set to music and put on KZbin. Having served my initial service in C-1/182 Infantry in Cambridge, I still miss my time in the YD.

The map of France shows the red dot at Apremont, Vendee (a major locale on the Atlantique coast)... but the WWI battle was at Apremont, Ardennes (on the Westen Front)... I am guessing the researcher must have just looked up "Apremont, France" (which is like looking up Springfield, USA.) There are at least eight towns in France called Apremont --each in a different province.

Hearing it, i am reminded of Billy Joel's "And So It Goes". Not 100% sure though. Tunes are borrowed all the time.

Would anyone have a copy or link to the Regiment Roll?
