Don't worry, I started in Canada 28 years ago. It was in big recession at that time, it was very difficult to start. Now, I am a structural technician group head in an international engineering consultant. As long as you work hard, you can survive anywhere in the world. I would suggest NOT working for Chinese company, especially when you're at oversea.
所以我無咗層樓都要送個女去讀國際學校,今日已經學成,在外國上市公司工作。and I did not want to talk to the principal of the local HK school. I don’t think they understand me. I just took my girl away without looking back. Good luck kids Canada is a big family you’ll learn how to love and you feel loved everywhere

U can still get a job in banking in Canada. Banking is one of the most transferable skills in the world. All the best and believe in yourself.
The job opportunities in Canada are mostly based on individuals abilities. You can also go south of the border to work in the US using the TN visa as well
