The story about the daughter and social media is so real. I've attempted to take my life when I was younger due to hating how I looked, every woman I know had a very similar time age 12-20. I'm 23 and I'm still dealing with my mental issues surrounding my body, but at least it's not as bad as it was. I was the first generation of kids to have access to the internet growing up, so our parents didn't know what they know now. Now parents are aware of social media danger and what circles the internet. Your kid may scream and say they hate you, but always keep an eye on their profiles and search history (Esp if they're girls)! Don't shame them for what they look up or post, just keep an eye for red flags and be there for support. Whether it's porn, violent videos, pedos, bullies, or body shame your kid WILL experience it, it's your job to monitor and teach them about it. Pay attention to every single red flag, and remember therapy is for everyone. Also remember that your kid is a master manipulator because they know you lmao, so don't take their word for everything. I convinced my parents many times that I was fine or nothing was happening but in reality I was near the edge.

Yeah I think that storey hit me way to close to the feels because 1. it shows how humans can be the most cruel and heartless beings that exist 2. It taught me that you shouldn't listen to what other people say it's your body and no one else's and 3. She's A teenager im 15 rn and ik how so obsessed you can get easily with that age add everything together and it can all drive someone over the edge of what's practically madness.

For the first one there’s an 100% logical explanation! When in a sleep paralysis state, you’re in a dream like state like they said you start to hallucinate, and you can’t make up your own faces in your dream wether they be hororifying or not, There’s a chance they saw it before. Just coincidence that the sleep paralysis started. But it sleep paralysis can be caused by stress and you have a higher chance of it sleeping on your back! So yeah, there’s be no need to panic

Some people say sleep paralysis is for sure demons and other say it’s the scientific reasons behind it I’m kind of in the middle myself I have narcolepsy so hallucinations and sleep paralysis are normal for me so I’ve seen my fair share of scary stuff. I think what causes sleep paralysis is scientifical however are we more susceptible to perceive the spirits and other things around us in that state of mind? Not every hallucination is a demon but how could we know for sure? Just interesting and scary at the same time I’m my opinion!

Sleep paralysis sucks, one thing you need to know is it’s a demon that’s why she started having that experience too, because the demon was haunting her boyfriend she was staying with. I used to have sleep paralysis and you can’t move most of the time but if you have it try to fight or attack the demon, I used to get the sleep paralysis where every night or so I would get the grudge type demon crawling onto me and then latching onto me until I woke up a few seconds later. I fought back, I think the last time I had it I was having the paralysis and I started to be able to move enough, I imagined I had some type of power and when it came after me I overpowered it with some type of energy and it flew backwards towards my ceiling and disappeared. Of course these are dreams but demons are real, they can’t hurt you but they make up for that by trying to scare you, all you have to remember about demons is they can’t physically harm you, they just want to keep you afraid, fear is what attracts them.

.as a person who has sleep paralysis, I no longer sleep in the dark but from time to time i would see the monster that has been hunting me for years in the doorway, actually just the shadow. The things I've seen plus the feelings I felt it's kinda painful, but at the same time.. The story about the teen who tried to commit suicide is the scariest story because as a parent this is a nightmare!my daughter actually cut herself when she turned 13 I was a very attentive parent but still somethings a parent still can't protect your children from . It broke my heart that she was so depressed she felt she had to do that . I got her therapy but she still didn't open u to anyone about the reason for this until she was 18 . This is hard for me to even say but a friend of hers dad had sexually assaulted her . Sleep paralysis is VERY real, & very terrifying. It seriously happens just like the story explained, except I've never actually seen any 'monsters' or entities... nothing, it's just a fear & feeling of someone or something being there, & coming to get you. You are totally paralyzed, you can't move, & no matter how hard you try, you cannot scream or talk. It is the scariest shit in the world, because you have absolutely NO control over your body or voice. It doesn't last for long, but you can't, (or just dont want to) go back to sleep afterward. Also, sometimes it does feel like something or someone is on your chest, restricting your breathing. I pray no one had to ever experience that horrible shit, in their life.
