Yes, think I explain that. Since it's designed as a beginner's lesson I didn't want to confuse anyone with tuning down. By all means do that if you want to play at the pitch of the record.

I was scoring the internet for all the different version so I could nail down how to play this song (nobody has it quite right). Yours was one of the most helpful, but I skipped around the video and must've missed if you mentioned down-tuning. However, not one version I found online mentions tuning down a half step. It was when I went to play it along with the alternate "take 1" version by The Beatles that I realized why it felt weird. I appreciate your page and how well you explain playing guitar for beginners. Keep up the good work, dude.
