Sir , I beg to differ on the above discussed issue. I support ECI and SC decision. As ECI is also a constitutional body . with regard to data and EVMs related issues any biasness or inaccuracies has never been objectively proven so far . If SC keep giving directions to ECI on every miniscule things related to elections , it undermines the sanctity of ECI . Hence ECI might have opposed this data release after SC directions. And released data later to prove that issues are not related to data release but with it's sanctity. Further, had SC given directions to ECI , litigants will again approach the court for some other trivial issue as few days back VVPAT counting demand was raised . Court should avoid unnecessary interference in the ECI mandates unlesss something becomes vital to ensure transparency and fairness in the system .

Yes I also read somewhere that ECI would give that data to the the concerned constituency MPs ,not released publically in press...If l am not wrong one MP has already shown that data on Twitter, which they can legally...so I also agree...
