letsdig18 is a great operator, who does good work, and also cleans up the messes he makes in the process of performing the main task. But you, sir, are a master with this machine. I watched all six parts without stopping for anything except food, drink, and bathroom. Mesmerized seems to be the right word for my condition. Beautiful work.

As great a job as you did, I don't see this road holding up under intense logging, especially the areas that you did not do extensive de-watering and gravel base on. just driving the small truck in at the end rutted the road already. I commend your expert abilities on the trackhoe, a better operator I have not seen, you have the touch for this work for sure.

I shared the tomtrenovering series with two operators and one was impressed and would love to run one. The other said he couldn't watch it because he was trying to do everything with the bucket. Which is kinda the point. So, I think part of the reason may be ignorance. Maybe lack of imagination on how to use something new. Of course we don't use the metric system here either.🙄 Also, notice his work truck is a Ford Transit. Imagine that being your crummy in the US.
@windzer4 жыл бұрын
@@timothyball3144 hi tim yea myself I'd love to try and run one. And idk why that operator you talked about didnt like watching for that reason that's just stupid it's called production if you can do something by yourself with out getting out of the hoe do it that saves so much time. I work for a plumbing company and we get pretty creative sometimes operating just so we dont have to get out of the cab or so the laborer doesnt have to come over to do it. Youd be surprised what you can do with a set of forks on a loader or skidsteer lol
@MrKaba19854 жыл бұрын
I think it is a bit from all and also a point on what you have to do. If you leveling like this videos show the bucket would be your friend but If you digging it can be hard based on its load what I think is not that what a normal bucket has

I think you have a good selection of music. My only feedback would be to not mix the genres (or at least not electronica and reggae :) and stick to one genre per video. It'd be different i you were doing more than only time lapsed road work, in that case you might want to switch things up in accordance with what's happening on screen. In my opinion using darker, slower, almost ambient electronic songs - like Ladybug at 17:36 - works really well. I also liked when you went almost "all out jazz" in the previous video since that's not something you normally see for these types of videos. One thing you can do to break the "monotony" of non-stop music is to splice in non time lapsed clips with just machine sounds, perhaps even from a different angle. When you go back to time lapse, you go back to using music. And as always, truly impressive work with the excavator. :)
@gnuclur89524 жыл бұрын
Martin Edelius good advice.... being a motor head no music at all would be preferred but it’s not my channel. :-)
