Photos are great. Cold water and the package don't mix. That water was so clear in the last drift. Love when y'all find artifacts in the mines. Beautiful colors and that windlass was cool seeing it all together in one piece. Y'all take care and be kind to one another.

The egg shells you found was a miners lunch. When I was working under ground my lunch was hard boiled eggs and sardines the eggs for protein and the sardines in oil to remove the dust from my throat.

That windlass was both cool and terrifying at the same time (I can't swim). Lots of cool stuff to see in there, and Sandon looks like a neat place to visit. Much easier to sit on my ass and eat pumpkin pie and whip cream while you two do all the hard work...
