HAHAHAHA. Welcome to my “minimal editing” era 😂 I used to spend like 8-10 hours editing every KZbin video so I could look polished and remove my um’s and buffering moments - but what’s the point? No one is polished like that in real life, and I personally like more raw and authentic videos 🥰 Plus, I can’t dedicate that amount of time to editing anymore. I’ll definitely try to be more mindful of my ums though LOL but thanks girl 🥰💕 I appreciate you watching!

@@EssentialEndeavours yeah! I always feel like I have to be extra careful about which mailing label I put on which package so I can’t imagine having to make sure everything’s right when you pack a ton of orders at the same time

Hiii!! I did one live show and sold nothing lol. But do you think overall it gives a boost? I was wondering if then the algorithm favors your page overall because you’re making it happy by using that feature.

Hey Jess! When I started with live shows over on WhatNot, I had many shows where I made very little to no sales. It takes awhile to build an audience - and with anything in life, consistency is key. It’s definitely not for everyone, which I totally understand. But it’s a great way to market your closet and items that you have for sale and every show is an opportunity to connect with people and build a solid foundation of an audience. By the time Poshmark rolled out live shows, I already had 4 months of live selling experience under my belt, and at this point I’m coming up on 2 years of live selling in June. In the beginning of live selling, I had less than 10 people in many of my shows, but it grows over time and with consistency even if you can only hop on once a week, just pick a time slot and be consistent with it so as you’re growing an audience they’ll know when to expect you! 🥰 Feel free to come to my shows if you wanna see how I do mine! There’s so many different ways of doing them 💃 In terms of favoring me in the Posh algorithm - definitely not. I’m listing maybe 30 “premium” items a month, and true “closet” sales are sparse - I do advertise everything I list in my shows so some end up being “show” sales - it all kinda bleeds together. But with any platform - being consistent with listing will yield more sales 🥰

Hi Alma! Aww, thanks so much girl - I really appreciate you saying that 🥹 Live selling is definitely a lot of work, just like reselling. I’ve been more successful with live selling because it’s made me more consistent because I have people expecting me at certain times - with traditional listing, I could work whenever and wasn’t super structured. So yeah, I guess live selling has given me structure which has allowed me to be more consistent 🥰 Also, in June I will have been live selling for 2 years, so it’s taken awhile to build up my audience - so yes, $10K a month is very realistic for many business models if you can be consistent for awhile and build up an audience. My personal goal is $8K a month in sales because that’s been my average for the last 6 months of 2023 - so going into the new year, I’m keeping my goals pretty realistic with the level of work I want to do (basically 40 hours a week, I could make more if I worked more, but I’ve finally found some great work-life balance). some months are higher and some are lower depending on how many shows I’m doing and depending on the time of year. The pattern has increased month after month so I’m hoping to average $8K/mo for the first 3 quarters and then $10K/mo for Q4 🥰 Yes, Posh bundles items won within the same show - not show to show. That’s something I do offer, but I have to do it manually 🥰 not all live sellers are willing to do that. I like my buyers to be able to maximize their 5 lb.
