@@CalumnMcAulay don't know from where you get your definition that a song requires lyrics, because it doesn't, but anyway, i'm not here to discuss semantics. I listen to a lot of ambiant and there are better songs (or tracks, if you insist), that are better. It's not diminishing this song, which is really good, but there are better stuff out there. Very first thing that come to my mind right there would be Lychen by Aphex Twin, or some stuff by Brian Eno, but I could probably find other examples if I take some time.

Years have passed since you've seen your loved ones. Abducted, abused, alone, and afraid. Isolated in a prison beyond escape. You've been told by your captors that one day, you'll be set free and reunited with your family. A lie of a promise that'll never come. A lie that you believe. The fainting hope of escape from this walking coffin of flesh and bone. Hope is the only thing felt in your heart. Hearing the foot steps from behind the door, the rattling of keys and muffled words. The door remains still, and locked. Silence as your heart punches behind your chest, ready to burst with tears of relief, tears of pent up grief, denied. A familiar voice from behind the door, whispers in a mocking tone, "Your family, has been set...free." The diminishing laughter and footsteps echo the reality of your own freedom will not be from this cell, but of your own bones. Clawing at your own scalp, slicing your nails into your flesh, the cracked laughter, escaping your hoarse, exhausted voice. This is the music, of a broken mind.

28 Days Later is the best horror movie ever, for me: it is realistic, showing everyday life amongst an Infection: - how nature comes back - the best and worst side of humanity - cooperation and humans giving in to their carnal instincts - abandoned cities, shops and towns - close bonds are forged - losses happen - there are a couple of scarejumps, too - it is not even just a horror, it is more a horror-drama The OST is very versatile, featuring Christians hymns, calming synthetizer sounds, emotional, suspenseful and dramatic orchestral music, some pop-rock and rock songs. I' m not a great fan of horror movies, but without a doubt this is the best I' ve ever seen.
