@@CalumnMcAulay don't know from where you get your definition that a song requires lyrics, because it doesn't, but anyway, i'm not here to discuss semantics. I listen to a lot of ambiant and there are better songs (or tracks, if you insist), that are better. It's not diminishing this song, which is really good, but there are better stuff out there. Very first thing that come to my mind right there would be Lychen by Aphex Twin, or some stuff by Brian Eno, but I could probably find other examples if I take some time.

I am so glad Danny Boyle chose to add music like this to the film.. rather than HEAVY METAL which would have ruined the atmosphere. When you hear this when the 4 Survivors are watching the 4 Horses. It is just a beautiful moment in Cinema.

I cannot think of words, it's truly a masterpiece. Each time i listen to this...chills...sadness....regret....family....i think of so many emotions, it's almost overwhelming to the point i can't even think straight. At times, listening to this, it makes me feel peace to the point that i don't care if i die, even though i know my family will be hurt. I don't want to die, nobody does.. This music is just too powerful, thank you Brian Eno.

Its 2:16 AM, i'm on my bed. I played this with my phone and closed my eyes. There's no light in the room. I swear i've never been tripping so much in my whole life without the using of drugs (which i never used by the way beside some joint). I was picturing an old house on a small hill, with white walls and a night blue rooftop. There, i was living with a person i'm in love with since years but for many reasons this love cannot happen. I was feeling calm, nostalgic, relaxed. I think this masterpiece dug inside my subconcious and drag to the surfice one of my biggest desires in life, and built my own little heaven. Simply love it!

@@Lmemn As far as technically true you are generalizing too much. Not everyone can pull that vibe out of a simple Synth and give you those emotions. Not everyone can make Ambient music at that level, and paradoxically the difficulty in creating such a track lies in its extreme simplicity. It is easy to make a piece full of elements that captures you that way, but a piece characterized only by a sound carpet that immerses you until that point? ...

Years have passed since you've seen your loved ones. Abducted, abused, alone, and afraid. Isolated in a prison beyond escape. You've been told by your captors that one day, you'll be set free and reunited with your family. A lie of a promise that'll never come. A lie that you believe. The fainting hope of escape from this walking coffin of flesh and bone. Hope is the only thing felt in your heart. Hearing the foot steps from behind the door, the rattling of keys and muffled words. The door remains still, and locked. Silence as your heart punches behind your chest, ready to burst with tears of relief, tears of pent up grief, denied. A familiar voice from behind the door, whispers in a mocking tone, "Your family, has been set...free." The diminishing laughter and footsteps echo the reality of your own freedom will not be from this cell, but of your own bones. Clawing at your own scalp, slicing your nails into your flesh, the cracked laughter, escaping your hoarse, exhausted voice. This is the music, of a broken mind.

28 Days Later is the best horror movie ever, for me: it is realistic, showing everyday life amongst an Infection: - how nature comes back - the best and worst side of humanity - cooperation and humans giving in to their carnal instincts - abandoned cities, shops and towns - close bonds are forged - losses happen - there are a couple of scarejumps, too - it is not even just a horror, it is more a horror-drama The OST is very versatile, featuring Christians hymns, calming synthetizer sounds, emotional, suspenseful and dramatic orchestral music, some pop-rock and rock songs. I' m not a great fan of horror movies, but without a doubt this is the best I' ve ever seen.

In the end, racism will be nonsense for all those remaining will instinctively join forces with their own kind to surive it doesnt matter if you are black or white. Also ...Racism is an infection !! Horse didn´t get infected that´s why they show up playing and having fun around while the civilization crumbles ! A FANTASTIC MOVIE !! Can´t wait to see part 3 next year.
