Iya Ibeji, my lovely mother may your soul continue to rest in perfect peace. I remember those days early in the morning, my mother will be singing these beautiful songs while washing clothes in the stream. Happy as Larry despite of empty stomach. Iya Alagbafo thanks so much for all what you did for us, single handedly raised 7 children after the death of my father.

Akereja Ben “Empty Stomach” is the magic statement that got me melted. There are millions of Nigerians who are hungry even as at this time of writing but have no business dealing with hunger. The top government officials who could have alleviated the people’s conditions via eradication of hunger and poverty programs chose to keep the public funds for themselves. And now the majority of those leaders who kept your stomach empty back then are in HELL-FIRE, while one of their victims Mama Alagbafo is in HEAVEN being cared for by the Angels. The Holy Bible says, “what does it profit a man who gains the world and loses his soul”? Dear Ben, May your Mom’s soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Lovely hymns all. As I listened to the hymns while having my bath however i really wished most of the hymns dovetailed into the following stanzas. It is almost criminal to sing for instance "Igbagbo mi duro lori" or "Okan mi yo ninu Oluwa" and just stop at the 1st stanza and chorus. Lol. Please consider an album release where even if it's just 10 hymns you sing every stanza (or select most of the stanzas). Thank you sir. Greater anointing and God's mercy in Jesus' name.
@saltersmusic4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Sir for your observation. God bless. I tried singing more than one stanza in the 2nd or 3rd edition of the hymns collections. It is indeed a huge project to sing all the verses. I will see what I can do with the 4th edition coming soon.
