I just went on a hike last week. I was way up the mountain, completely alone when I heard a super loud bang out of nowhere. Everything went silent. It couldn’t have been a gunshot cause there was no echo or crackle. The sound had no echo at all and was just there and gone. Another more recent time I smelled a strong smell of a burp out on a isolated trail in the wilderness. I have no clue what that could have been.

That story with the whispering voice on the Appalachian trail made me remember an Asterix & Obelix movie: "Asterix & Obelix conquer Rome", in which they have to fulfill 12 tasks, one of them being to spend a night on a haunted battleground. When the dead soldiers start their haunting, they of course disturb the sleep of the two heroes. Asterix, after a tedious day full of tasks, is so annoyed about the disturbance, that he lectures the centurion of the dead army, telling him to do his stuff silently, because "others want to sleep, thank you very much!" With a little background information the whispering fairy would have known, that she had no chance to lure anybody away from that camp! 🤣
@thebluemoonlady2 жыл бұрын
Haha, in my country it was called "The 12 tasks of Asterix" 😂 What I remember the most about that movie was when they were trying to get Permit A 38 in "The Place that sends you mad" lol. First story dude really said it was kinda messed up that his friend just left him hanging... after they sent one guy by himself down a different path... then wouldn't go with the other to find his phone. So the guy saying it was messed up was literally the only one who didn't deal with anything alone.... who's kinda messed up now?
@Rose_Bride2 жыл бұрын
@ *Pr0digyZRX* • ...I mean, I "get" what you're saying, but to be honest I agree with the OP. When they initially sent the "new" friend off to walk that alternate path alone, none of them knew about the entity stalking the woods. And once they found out about this thing, they all at least stayed and still waited for their friend to come out before leaving. Meanwhile, the 'friend' with the missing phone was more than willing to risk his life (and theirs) to _WILLINGLY_ go back out into the woods to retrieve a *MATERIAL OBJECT* _which could easily be replaced._ Sure, he would have gotten into some trouble with his parents over losing the phone, (which to be fair was HIS OWN FAULT anyway) but that's WAY better than one (or more) of these kids potentially _losing their LIFE_ to this (potentially) maleficent entity. Truthfully he's lucky his friends even walked THAT far with him; I personally wouldn't have risked going back out there after seeing such a thing and being blessed enough to have NOT gotten attacked. Then, once their "friend" finds and retrieves the phone that he was willing to risk _both HIS and HIS FRIENDS lives over,_ he books it out of there and pointedly gets himself to safety, not even CONSIDERING warning his friends until he had gotten himself tucked safely and securely back into his home with his door locked. He was also the one with the g*n, so he KNOWINGLY left his friends unprotected and exposed. You won't convince me that this guy couldn't have stopped off somewhere BEFORE reaching his home in order to send his friends a quick text telling them that it wasn't safe. Even just a quick _"RUN"_ would have sufficed. Instead, he treated his friends as an afterthought after needlessly putting them in danger in the first place. There was NO REASON for them to have come back out with him. Yet they DID because they're friends and they cared about him. It's just too bad 'phone guy' considers his _phone_ more valuable than his so-called friends' lives. OP was absolutely correct. This was a pretty sh*tty thing for this guy to do to them.

🇬🇧 Just had to say DP, that thumbnail has had a strange effect on me! Its the same effect as when you suffer sleep deprivation & things straight on or in your peripheral vision, appear to be in motion! Ie when your tired & a car passenger & gazing out of your window & the bushes bordering fields or just dotted about, look like animals running along in your same direction This happens to me whenever i get tired & im fascinated to see the bushes turn into smallish Buffalo bounding along.. Anyway, im not tired, im well rested, no problems, no depression, no illness .. yet.. Every time im scrolling through my utube menu, and see THIS particular piece of Dogmen or Werewolf artwork... it MOVES! I started watching this vid the day you released it, & watched some, left off then resumed a day or two later. Each time my eyes clap onto the thumbnail artwork, that canine face moves! Sometimes the eyes narrow, OR the bridge of the creatures snout wrinkles up, OR the mouth widens OR closes, OR the fur seems to ripple... i kid thee not! I cant remember if this has occured before & think, way Back, it has. But nothing, to how this image has " transformed " before my eyes. Ive watched it in daylight, afternoon & morning, twilight & with my lamp on, but STILL there are changes, moving, even though minutely its perceptible. Not being rude or offensive, as the artwork is very good but its not created to " look" realistic but, as is, a drawing... cartoon like, so why is it having an effect on me? Just now, i hit on it again & within seconds the image moved to the wrinkling of the bridge of the nose/snout. So ive had to tell you about this! I feel bonkers saying it because its not happening with any other piece of artwork, some of which are VERY lifelike, but im not affected! Who the heck is the artist of the wolfman face? Or is it your own computer artwork? Are you or the artist some sort of Shamen???? To tell you the truth, im puzzled & not a little wierded out! Ive decided to actually finish listening to the end of this vid but have also decided to save the video to file. Im going to periodically look at it to see if it still moved momentarily! Its not scary but definately Spookity! Im being genuinely honest here! I just cant understand the odd phenomena. Blessings to you DP & your lovely British wife & son and to all DPs fans out there! Im not crazy or batshit just very puzzled 🤔 🇬🇧👧
