Great interview I learned a techniques call "feel felt and found". That is you identify with the prospects objection for example I know how you feel, I felt the same way. However I found that people who "purchased my product" experienced this positive outcome. Another contribution to the discussion is what I learned from a spiritual leader who talks about observing your emotions, as though one was a third person, instead of re-acting to it (like a dog being drawn in to a scent). That feeling or emotion will pass like a cloud over your head or 10 minutes like what Mr. Bowden contributed-) thanks I shared this on my face book page and bought the book.

Sales is a nonconsensual relationship with the customer, unless they're the odd one who looks forward to a debate. Customers approached and leaving the salesman feeling shitty is just a role flip. They're not the "jerk," we, the salesman are. There's a reason salesmen are considered the most loathsome to be approached by. Perhaps we need to revamp the predatorial behaviors ingrained in salesmen. It's gotta go. We're moving into a new world, with new ways. badgering, gaslighting, lying and exaggerating is old school; the new gens aren't interested in abuse nor will they put up with any amounts. They're on to sales, and they recognize control freaks miles away.

What an interesting take on the video. Tell me how do you think sales people should behave?

@@Salesmasterymag the whole process of red tape and extended wastes of time needs to be revamped. Younger gens are on to the sales slogans and psycho trips. They still rope in like they used to, but they're speaking up and dont want to run circles for naught. Sales is predatory by nature and it's becoming very clear that predatory behaviors are toxic. There needs to be a huge shift, soon, on the sales side.

There are things that I don't understand like: Why if mark is an expert in body language, his moves are very exagerated plus he moves a lot. That is very distracting, do not enphasize any point so the movements don't have any porpuse and for what I have learn if a speaker is jumping from one side to another that makes him kind of untrustfull. May be I am wrong. Thats my perspective and what I have learn about body language.

Claudia Resendez In one of his video he said he is doing that on purpose just to emphasize his points and the non verbals so people can pick them and learn from them.I think being a body language expert it makes sense to him to do that on purpose .

For example he mostly talks about the importance of open palm gesture and u wil see him often doing that so that the viewers get to learn that and apply them in daily life.being an expert he is quite aware of how to emphasize a certain non verbal behaviour for the sake of learning for others.
