@aaronwebb70902 жыл бұрын
@@LillyMcNealWhite Denison are brokers/service providers, they exist to sell yachts, rent charters and sort out different services for owners. Their tours are focused on showing what a yacht offers without going overboard on all the details because the people that buy these kinds of toys don't need to know what the appliances are, any history about the builders or all the ins and outs of the features on offer. If they are interested in the yacht they will get the info and undoubtedly a much more thorough walk though. It's one of the reasons I rarely watch their run throughs unless its on a yacht I really want to see. I would much rather watch Nick or Victoria & Rico, that way I can get a good look at all the things I can't afford.

Now, this is a true mega yacht tour. Mr. Smith at Denison does a phenomenal job in my humble opinion. So often I get to watch different individuals or small companies that are able to get on a super, ultra or mega yacht only to bastardize the entire ship tour. This was an excellent presentation of "Bold" and provides me with inspiration to work that much harder. Excellent work!
@benbird21003 жыл бұрын
Denison does a pretty good job with their tours and presentations, and they definitely have good production and editing. I would have loved to see how the helicopter was stowed in the garage/make-shift hanger, but in the overall context and intent behind the presentation, it probably would not be as important or interesting to see, especially by comparison to the rest of the spaces on the vessel.

Now BOLD does indeed bring a whole new meaning to the definition of "yacht". What I see watching this video is one thing above all else, and that would be "potential". Most other yachts, even when they are in a similar size category, have certain limitations how they can be used, decorated or even just how their owners can live on them. But I think BOLD breaks right through those limitations. Do you want a giant party boat? Nothing easier than that. Do you prefer your yacht to be something like a private research vessel? I'm sure she could easily be accommodate whatever is necessary for such a purpose. Do you want to leave the life on land behind and have your own floating mansion which can carry you around the world? Well, this is of course just my opinion but I think I could live aboard this ship very easily and rarely find a reason to leave. I actually find those two spaces for helicopters quite interesting. My own ship is way smaller (and way older) than BOLD and thusly a landing pad is not really something you would expect on a ship like mine. However BOLD is way bigger and also has the means to serve a way wider range of purposes. So I can definitely see why having the capability to accommodate two helicopters makes sense for a ship like this. My personal favourite place that were shown are definitely the master stateroom and the winter garden. Well, I could go on for a while talking about this particular yacht, but I guess this post is long enough already and few people want to read an entire novel when they go through the comments of a video like this. So, in short: This yacht is quite awesome.

"The crew has full rights to use the exercise equipment" is such a weird statement. This video seems to imply *_Bold_* is for charter only; do crew exercise in front of guests while chartering? If for sale, I'd hope the owner would allow the crew to exercise on the equipment and that wouldn't have to be stipulated in contracts. (But I've yet to own a luxury yacht, so I don't know this.)
@aaronwebb70902 жыл бұрын
Crazy rich people are not really known for their ability to share, which probably helped them get crazy rich. It isn't uncommon for crew to have restricted access to facilities or equipment that doesn't relate to their job and you need to understand that they are there to work, even if their office happens to be a superyacht.

@@aaronwebb7090 *"The crew has full rights to use the exercise equipment" is such a weird statement.* Your response: _Crazy rich people are not really known for their ability to share, which probably helped them get crazy rich._ Your response doesn't correlate; in fact, it's the opposite. You're not providing any new information. *This video seems to imply Bold is for charter only; do crew exercise in front of guests while chartering?* Your response: _It isn't uncommon for crew to have restricted access to facilities or equipment that doesn't relate to their job and you need to understand that they are there to work, even if their office happens to be a superyacht._ Your second sentence contradicts your first. "Rich people don't share, crew can use the equipment." You're still not providing new information, just regurgitating basic knowledge. _Your third sentence is irrelevant because it isn't for sale._ It is for sale, privately: www.boatinternational.com/yacht-market-intelligence/brokerage-sales-news/silveryachts-bold-yacht-for-sale You appear to mistake knowledge for wisdom. Since you cannot extrapolate from what I originally stated, nor re-evaluate your response when I told you *"Your response doesn't answer my question, nor provide any new information,"* let me inform you of some basic knowledge that I already have when making my post: I've been watching yacht videos for years, from salesmen, companies, yachtees and yacht fans. In the vast majority of videos I've seen, if there is a gym on board, _as opposed to simply an exercise bike,_ the videos mentioned the crew enjoy it as well as the owner. In chartered vessels, the crew tend to wake up before the guests, sometimes hours prior, allowing them to go for a swim or use some equipment before the guests are up. Prior the guests being up, the crew will finish their swim/exercise and prepare for the day. _It is not expected for the crew to be using the equipment in front of guests while chartering._ Hence, the weird statement I originally quoted and my question regarding it. It could very well be that they included that for _new buyers/viewers_ and not for someone seasoned. You have responded twice adding nothing to the OP and just sound like a braggart at a movie telling everyone that you know what's going on, when they've finished the book.
