This is one of the few channels that I actually look forward to watching too!

Def made your ride look clean. Is cool that you can adjust so many ways for alignment.

For drivers that use their Z more then on occassion. You should use factory rubber rear mount bushings so something gives. The factory suspension was designed with flex into it. From the diff moustache which is made of Spring steel like a leaf spring. For designed in flex. As always your videos get smoother and smoother " what is this shot in HI Def cause it looks Crisp ! Great as always !

I'm jealous of how easily that spindle came out.

You need a lift! And a new moustache bar! Like how you go through each detail. Very informative. Thanks

Hey, there you are. :) (You know, I was wondering what ...I think it was you, for your Evo, used for a clearcoat on some headlight restoration you did. They didn't have my usual choice when I went to the store, so I got something else that, err, meant I had to redo a whole headlight for a friend once it dried. ) Anyway, always nice to see the Z car stuff. :)

Are you going to be converting to 240z turn signals in the front with the full grill? That would be a great video to cover to see how 240z air dams match up on a 280z. (I'm also looking to do this conversion)

you have the washers all on one side. they should be spaced evenly on both sides.

Why would you lube the outside of the bushings?

Liked the video, informative. I'm about to attempt the install as well, interested in how many washers or inches you used to space the wheel forward or back? Any after pictures? Thanks.

Why is the new spindle bolt not pinned like the OEM set up? There is a reason Nissan did that.
@mannine995 жыл бұрын
yeah thats bad, might wear the strut housing and theres thread under the uniball. im using spindle bolt myself, just keep it lubricated and theres no problem. Moving the wheel to more rear? what it does to driveshaft angle? thanks for rough weigh

I have a 280z that hasn't had work done on it since the 70s. I have to remove the rusty spindles and remove the rear control arms. Someone pray for me..

OK. Never had mine apart, but the car was twenty years newer at that time. I did notice though that if you get that center retaining bolt out it looks like a great place to get some PB Blaster or similar up in there. :)

Follow up to this.. Buy the tool. Do yourself a favor and just buy it from the start. I let both spins soak in penetrating oil for a couple of days before attempting to remove these. Driver side took about 4 hours of hammering before it came out. The passenger side got about 1/4 of the way after an hour and froze. Attempted it twice more with heat and a bit more elbow grease, but no luck. Purchased the tool, it was out in 10 mins. Lesson learned.. if there is a specific tool for one task, there is a reason for it.
