I saw "Hot to Trot" in the theater when I was 11. We went because we loved Bobcat's Zed character from the Police Academy movies, plus John Candy. I haven't seen it since maybe 1989 when it was on HBO...I think Gilbert only has a cameo in the last scene. During the final race, the horse asks Bobcat to get his [horse's] teeth capped like a news anchor if he wins the race and the last scene is Gilbert playing a dentist, complaining about the horse's breath as he prepares to work on the horse's mouth in an oversized dentist's chair.
