This technique is deceptively simple. On the surface it looks like you just put dots of blue and color on a canvas. I imagine the chain pulling requires a fair amount of skill. It needs to be pulled at just the right speed in a certain direction to keep the colors from blending too much. I am sure my first attempt at this wouldn't result in me saying, "Yep, nailed it!". Great work on this and it is an interesting idea.

I like how a plastic spoon is used to clean off the extra paint. I love the finished painting. I will have to try this soon because I love butterflies and I really enjoy finding new ways to paint

I've got two things to say about this. 1. A master makes hard things look easy. A champion boxer may defeat best of fighters easily within 'seconds', but it takes 'years' of perseverance to forge such a champion. 2. Often it's not easy to come up with a new technique which is fast and easy to use (even though to use the new technique itself may be easy and less time consuming).
