great episode,very emotional and a sad episode.i felt so sad for Cheryl and Brendan to lose their best friend and i was actually in tears. Lyndsey was getting her life back on track and suddenly shes gone. Absolutely the most saddest death in the history of Hollyoaks. Well Done Karen Hassan and I'm gutted that we won't see any more of Lyndsey again.

I LOVE CHERYL! She is breaking my heart this episode. It's so real. Her cries, her shock, her tears. How utterly inhumane to see Lynsey's two best friends in the world being hauled in for questioning and treated so poorly when they are mourning the death of a loved one. So sad.

It's amazing to see Steven being the strong one and also to see how easily Brendan is almost instantly calmed by him!!! It was heartbreaking to see Brendan as such a wreck and to see the way he just clung to Steven 😢 And I'm sorry I just couldn't help but have a little giggle at the fact that you could see just how much Brendan was clinging to him by the fact that Steven was almost knocked down multiple times 😂 All in all horribly sad episode so sad to see Lynsey gone she was an amazing character and I'll miss her 😭

Cause in part she was. It was a relief not having Lynsey tell Riley about the picture she found in her room. I do think she grieved some, but not nearly as she would have if it was genuine. See how she snidely she got when Riley told her Brendan and Sheryl were staying at his place too.

poor Lyndsey,but I've never been more shocked by a soap death,just wasn't expecting that at all,Hollyoaks just keeps getting better and better,but it's so sad that it still doesn't get the credit it deserves,i hope Hollyoaks wins more awards,it's been so good and worth watching.Eastenders should take note because Eastenders can't do a shocking soap death and keep it a secret like Hollyoaks does.well done to Hollyoaks.

I think thats the first time I cried at a tv programme I loved Lynsey one of my favourite charaters! I think its the doctor he saw Mercedes and Lynsey fight so because he's obssessed with Mercdes he killed Lynsey.

Whoever did it I'm guessing they were at Brendan's flat before Lynsey even arrived, and hiding out waiting for her to come back. They also knew that Brendan wasn't home at the time, & heard Cheryl say she was going to the shop. Quick, deliberate, and on point. Not since Sylas have we seen such skill. lol I wonder who is it.

I think Mercedes is just a usher and is thrilled at how the turn of events work in her favor--since she's all she thinks about. But I'm almost positive creepy doctor did it. He was also *conveniently* the first one to rush over to the body to 'help'. That way he has an alibi for his DNA and fingerprints on her in case they find them later.

No forced entry. Who do we know entered the house many times unwanted & without forced entry? Could be that Silas got one of his goons to do it for him & told him or them how to enter that house carefully. It's always the one you least expect. A 10 second spoiler on 4oD reveled that Silas would return in the summer. Coincidence! I think not.

My theory lies with the doctor..... as much as Ally smells fishy to me, I don't think he'd do it. He hasn't been 'around' so much in terms of sl with Lynsey, well not from I can see anyway. yea, to me Ste was just offering some compassion. I mean, as much as he may not want anything to do with Brendan now, he is still human to realize when someone needs a hug. for Ally, I think its cause the character is boring. he is the typical good guy but now with the twist of the 'secret past' lol we know nothing about him. I wish they would have shown amy and ally relationship more, would make me care for him alot more.

This sl will no doubt involve many of the villagers which personally is fantastic for me to watch. But like you said, shipped couples need the old stories to give them some continuity.... Yep Doug didn't even blink...that hug in the end left a bittersweet flavour in my mouth: because the show thinks it's sufficient to give fans crumbles, to make them believe again to Stendan, even if they NEVER really fixed it. They're sadists since when we're ready to move on, they wink to the fact they might come back. Ally could even be an alien for how much I care, LOL!but I agree: however they've short eps, so frankly I'd prefer to see Bralker more x ex than Amy/Ally sorry ;-P)

for me I love the hug b/c it does show that the only other person could ever comfort Brendan like would be Ste, their is a unspoken understandin they have of eachother but apart from that I think this whole shippin war is amplifyin everythin.
