Very nice looking sculpts. Empress does make some fantastic looking figures. I've painted some of their WWI stuff for a friend and they are a pleasure to do. Their Russo-Japanese war range is really beautiful too. 100% agree with the customer service ramble/waffle at the start. I've got 3 orders out and because of the world being inverted, shaken, stirred, left outside in the rain and then dropped, things are running a bit late. That said, the smaller manufacturers have been aces at keeping me up-to-date and keeping me satisfied. Waiting is a bit of a drag, but I'm glad I've found companies that 'get it' and appreciate the business.

Spot on James a loyal customer base is the bedrock to build on we are talking about Empress here not only because of the product but also how they deal with there customers and that then gives others confidence to part with their money . Regards Gav.

I actually brought the whole series when it was released in America. It never got released over here. But it never had the paint it black theme because of licensing rights. Definitely one of the best tv shows ever.

@@cyclone8974 yes it is tv cheese. But I have also heard of vets who loved it to because it showed all the sides of the war not just unrealistic heroics and flag waving. It was ahead of its time.

Hi Gav I have never had a problem with empress their ECW range are wonderful , even when warlord sent me a french cannon without a barrel they sent me the item with no issues . I'm with you on that one if your snotty with any of these supply companies then your less likely to get the item replaced. Take care mate Terry

I just think not being impatient with a company is a good start this is life and mistakes happen of course if they cock a deafen then ramp up a gear ! but i cant think there would ever be a need for that with Empress . Regards Gav.
