Wonderful Fraser! I love the variety, the background and the longevity to some of the units and the colours just are so beautiful! Mouth Watering! Well done👍

A great collection! I started a Spanish army in January, beginning like you with a box of Warlord Landsknechts. I've also been using Atlantic Spanish and have just some boxes of their new cavalry. It's been an enjoyable journey so far but I'm always finding it difficult deciding what colours to use.

Truly gorgeous work still just love those Hinchcliffe figs there is just something about them maybe it is just an old guy thing . But it is like an explosion of colourhas gone of in my brain, I still own a lot of the true 25mm figs mainly ancients look forward to seeing completed army if there ever is such a thing as completed with wargamers.

@vonketteringham22 күн бұрын
Hi Peter. Shotte are 60mm x 40mm, 4 figures to a base. Pike are 60mm x 50mm, 8 figures to a base. Sword/others are 60mm x 40mm, 6 figures to a base. Cavalry are 50mmx 50mm, 2 figures to a base. Artillery are normally 60mm frontage, depth depending on gun model. Command are 50/60mm rounds.

Very colourful army, they look quite superb mate. All that work in only fourteen months is a real achievement. It’s a period about which I know virtually nothing, but you have produced a real spectacle there. Did you have one particular book for reference purposes? Congratulations on a fantastic project.👍
@vonketteringham15 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I had the George Gush Renaissance armies on the shelf which is readily available at a good price. Various Osprey books on the period filled in the gaps. There are 5 books by Helion which are very good, pick those up via amazon. Yarkshire Gamers KZbin channel was very helpful along with Pinterest for colour plates. Rumour has it that Warlord games are releasing a supplement for the period soon.
@theenigmaticgamer9 күн бұрын
@@vonketteringhamSorry mate only just picked up on your reply. Thanks for the info. I heard on the Facebook groups that there will be a supplement from Warlord next year. If their marketing skills are anything to go by it will certainly be spectacular. I’ve ordered volume one of the Helion series as a starter and obtained “The Borgias” from the local library for a bit of background flavour. Have a good Christmas and all the best to you and yours for the New Year.
