how about longevity. When you talking about a budget I'll hold on to a penny till Lincoln screams. longevity on Oud Wood one. Also, thank you for the review.

On my skin the Oud Wood one last around 5-6 hours. Similar to how the original last on me honestly. Other ones last about the same, with the worst one being Bleu de Chanel at around 4-5 hours. Which is still similar to Bleu de Chanel right now.

Got my bottle of the Old Wood clone from Dossier last week and while it resembles Oud Wood, the Dossier is horribly synthetic with the initial blast and then it becomes a little better. However longevity is NIL on my skin. Maybe one hour and then nothing. Yes it is cheap enough to reapply every hour or so but why. Save up and get the real thing. Side by side there is a resemblance but it is gone too soon. My bottle will be going back.

In an HR you are not suppose to smell your cologne. Others are to smell it not you, maybe a swift of your cologne 1-2 times through out the day. I think the men cologne may not have as much oil but toilete water... The scent I have last about 6hrs...

I find the longevity of these horrible. For example, their Aventus clone is almost gone in two hours. They showed such promise with their presentation and marketing, but at least get to 5/6 hours.

@@RaggedyAnnWins an hour max for me but I'm not a person who douses themselves i usually just hit the spots between my elbows because if I can smell a scent too long I get headaches.

Keep in mind everyone's natural body oder and oils react differently. Some get long wear and very close scents, others get short wear and not as close scents. I personally cannot wear most perfumes as they smell nothing like the bottle says it should once it hits my skin. Maybe I use too much soap when I shower and don't leave enough natural oils .. idk lol

I just bought cdnim, n a cheap warm weather crisp green scent. I never smelled Aventus, SmH lol. Should I blind buy Dossiers version? Or will it be redundant? I currently have 17 bottles in my rotation. It's my guilty pleasure for myself.

I tried the Alt alternative to Aventus Cologne. Not recommended. White particles throughout the bottle, leaking atomizer, very oily juice with soft projection. Looks like something out of wish.

I tried several alt fragrances results were either unhappy or ok at best....all have so.e similar synthetic smell the bottles are cheap and leak

You need to point out that the bottles are not 100ml, which is important. And the Oud wood smells more like Gucci pour home 1 or Bentley absolute

Timmy, Hi Mike from Chicago. Got a question for you. I have Aventus batch 17W01. So I'm storing it properly. How long can I expect it to last as compared to breaking down? I see batches from 2010 online and wonder about the fragrance not breaking down? Thanks for the great content man!

I've got fragrances produced in the 80s and they're fine. As long as it's out of light and no large and quick fluctuations in temperature, it'll keep for decades

If you store it correctly you can get 10+ years out of it for sure. The official break down time varies fragrance by fragrance honestly. When it does start to breakdown you'll notice the top notes going first, then the heavier notes after.

I have maybe 10 ml left from my Dior Fahrenheit EDT from maybe 1992 or so and it still smells the same 😂 I've always stored it in a closet in normal room temperature

Dossier's Oud Wood smells like pencil shavings to me. Unfortunately, the package came with no sample. I didn't think I would dislike it so much so I opened the 50ml bottle and now is unreturnable.

Bro I bought spicy Vanilla suppose to be. Tom Ford NOIR smells slightly like but not near close enough to call it a clone I was really disappointed . Wouldn't purchase from them again
