@@300zxdriver they allow you to remap a button to them, so you can keep your thumbs on the sticks. For instance, in most shooting games square is the reload button, you can program one of the paddles to perform the function of the square button so you don’t have to take your thumb off the right stick to reload your weapon. It’s more efficient.

Since it’s a rhythm game inputs are super important which makes sense. Unfortunately parappa remastered is actually an emulator of the PSP release with upscaled textures which gives it some input delay

The best part of the Xbox Elite controller was the extended warranty, the way it felt in the hand, the carrying box, and the add-on pieces. I've never liked the layout of the Xbox controller compared to the PS controllers, but the first generation Xbox Elite controller has been my favourite for years, just because of how nice it feels. I've always wished Sony would come out with an official Elite controller. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Personally, I'm surprised there wasn't a class action lawsuit over the Elites. I bought the extended warranty and right after it expired, I started to notice the rubber grips deforming and peeling away from the controller, and the analog sticks were starting to drift. Then I found out the thing with the grips was such a common issue that replacement parts for them were (and still are) sold out everywhere. I've heard similar things about the series 2 controllers.

I prefer the white matte finish, you can easily paint it and customize it however you want, the glossy one is nice but if your hand starts sweating it'll become oily and slippery if you play for hours

I absolutely love the Iron Man inspired controller and it looks sick. However, $290 for a controller is not happening. Even if I were a "competitive" gamer I would still not pay that much money.
