My first time finding this channel even tho I have been buying from Penguin for years! LOVE the comparison video! I was wishy washy on buying the Mental DIE, and this video made me buy!

My favorite thing about this channel, which is tied for my favorite overall channel on KZbin, are these comparison videos. (This is the second one of these that I've watched.) I enjoy listening to these three guys, who have different and complimentary perspectives on magic, review the effects. Please consider making more of these as they go done very nicely with morning java. (A kindly request from the galley: consider comparing Tarantula 2, Spider Pen Pro and Gravity Reel.)

I purchased Die-Cipher along with The Shadow Principal booklet years ago. With a little practice using the shadow principal, this amazing trick can be even more amazing. WITHOUT even touching the canister with the die in it. Love It.

Crazy cube - was the second trick I ever got (I was 6 or 7). Teaches you misdirection, showmanship and story. A great trick even today. I just bought another one!

I perform Die-Cipher like this + have the spectator take the bottom and die under the table so no one can see it, and have them load the die inside and then cover it with the top.While still under the table the spectator also puts it back into the bag and then brings it to the top of the table and hang the bag from their finger. As they hold it there above the table you touch the bag to show them there is no way anyone can see through the bag. As you do this you get your number. It takes more practice but packs an even more powerful punch to this great effect.

Mental Dice/Die is diabolical. Everybody I've done it to honestly thinks I can read their mind-- I don't sell it as mind reading-- more as reading their facial cues-- it kills!!! And so great for ACAAN where the number comes from Mental Dice. One of my top purchases in past couple years. Winners Dice is great as well just bought from Penguin last month.

@@utube3156 the best is the single die -- at least in my experience-- much better than the set of 3 Mental Dice for 2 reasons-- 1. I have found the single mental die to be far more reliable and 2. The thumper makes it much less conspicuous-- don't have to rely on reading the numbers. My set of Mental Dice stopped working a while ago, and the range was never very good at all. But my Mental Die with the thumper is still always on me and works great.

@@Erdnase23 No-- just kept in storage in a box not to be used again-- the Murphy's Mental Dice never had good range for me. From the reviews I have read on the Murphy's Mental Dice Facebook group, this seems to be a common issue with the Murphy's Mental Dice-- However, as mentioned, my Murphy's single Mental Die with a thumper is much more reliable and better range. If you need a set of 3 dice with a reader then I would look at one of the online companies that specialize in electronics for Mentalism-- Personally, I would not buy the Murphy's 3 Mental Dice set again-- and seems other users are having issues based on posts from the Facebook Group.
