Some useful information for you below Like many other influential people in the Punjab as soon as they have some positive impact or they stand up for something they believe in they are killed off sadly. Sidhu not only became huge in his own country but his name spread like wildfire around the world and he was set to get even bigger with talk of collaborations with superstars like Drake, he even stood up for the local elections but unfortunately lost to a rival party. Sidhu knew he was a target and his life was in danger as he mentioned this in many songs before he was eventually shot dead, basically his influence and fame cost him in the end. No one knows the exact reason he was killed some say he was killed by gangsta’s because he refused to pay them protection money which is massive problem in Punjab others say he was starting to get global attention on subjects like 1984 when the indian government stormed into the most sacred place of worship for Sikhs and killed hundreds of innocent people which the government didn’t take to kindly to including other controversial subjects.
