Last weekend I set out for a wild camp with a more serious purpose. I headed to Loch Dochard not only to test the Naturehike Vik 1 tent and Sunblesa headtorch I'd been sent, but also to help the search for a missing hiker.

Great video, as always. I do like the look of the Vik 1. I have a NaturHike Cloud UP Wing 2 that I really like but it's too big for long hikes, and my Lanshan, although great, is sometimes not what I want and the exo-skeleton on the vik 1 (plus the price of course) seems like a good in between. You can never have too many tents though can you 😀

Hope the missing hiker is found soon. I'm still digging the Vik 1 a lot. Using the trekking poles as support is a nice idea. I tried it a bit on a Mongar 2 to test and it kind of worked like a Terra Nova Panacea 2/Northern Lite 2.

The Vik 1 is a brilliant tent for the cost and weight. Just got back from a bike trip using one every night. Super strong in high winds (no condensation on that night) but does get pretty damp/wet on a regular night. Can live with that though for the performance and if low weight is a priority. Hope the hiker is located soon.

Hi, I prefer the VIK, love it's exoskeleton pitch and it's a nice space to spend time, something bright and airy about it and it did well in winds in my limited experience.
