You would be better off cooking 6 meals in one day. I.e., a shepherds pie, cheese potato, pie a cassarole, a curry and a fish pie - all if possible placed in the oven at the same time. Cool them and freeze. It will save you so much time. A friend I use to work with did this every Sunday as both she and her husband worked full time.

I would love to do this. We really lack freezer space at the moment, but once we move, I will be investing in a chest freezer, so I can meal prep xx

This always seems like a great idea, but sometimes it can end up in more food being wasted. Plus you end up having to eat the foods you’ve made rather than something in the cupboard or eggs. Just do what’s best for you ❤

Just finished watching dr. Chris van Tulleken on the dangers of ultra processed foods full of salt, sugar and fat. Fresh soups, veg etc are are not expensive and will be far healthier!

@patriciaclark6171 We cook our children homemade meals, but they also have treats. We post our meals on youtube, too. We use frozen veg as it has just as much nutritional value as fresh fruit and veg Xx 🙂

Heinz are doing sauces with no additives and can often be picked up as a quick meal when you are busy.

Farmfoods is ok for some items but mainly stocks a lot of processed foods

It's good if you have a freezer as they have lots of meat and fruit and vegetables at a good price. In season, their fresh fruit and veg are great too xx

The farmfoods own ice creams like cones or milk chocolate on a stick we found were not very nice.
