From Northern Ireland Britain.. Absolutely the best show EVER made even better that The Sopranos and GOT.. And that's saying something.. Have watched every episode and series over 10 times 👍👍👍

This series drops me dead in my tracks. I had to stop watching it halfway through season 2 because it was so good I wanted to savor it and I dont want it to end. Genny, Ciro and Don Savastano are incredible, and all the players are incredible. Unfortunately this is a series like "The Wire", its so good, yet hard to watch, the series gets lost to the public. There is a camera shot towards the end of the first season of the shadows on the window as the car is speeding past the roadside buildings. It is true art , AMAZING shot selection and camerawork ! BRAVO and BRAVA everyone involved, MAGNIFICENT story telling.

Agreed. With every last word! I stopped on purpose in the middle of 4 on episode 4 when Genny & the drop dead gorgeous Azzura started speaking English in the U.K. i was blown away.

I started watching it casually without my wife and she got into it by just by being in the room. She didn't want to watch Season 5 because she did't want it to end. i almost stopped at Season 3 because i was so devastated by the ending. Best TV Series of all time

As an Italian, I love this series and I must say that it is one of the best, as well as one of the few, that talks about the mafia (in this case, Neapolitan mafia) But let me tell you this is the small fishes mafia. First of all, there are 3 very different types of mafia: Cosa Nostra (Sicilian mafia), Camorra (Neapolitan mafia) 'Ndrangheta (Calabrian Mafia, currently the most powerful in the world, present in many states outside Italy). The Neapolitan mafia is that of Gomorrah, but in my opinion they are small fish who are fighting each other for some district of Naples. Cosa Nostra was the bloodiest and most powerful mafia from the 1960s to 2000, killing heads of state, ministers, magistrates, policemen, innocent civilians. They were on the verge of terrorism, with attacks and bombs for a war of power against the Italian State. He had woven relations with politics to the point of having a mafia President of the Republic (Andreotti) and President of the Council (Berlusconi). Relationships so dangerous and high-level that they never ended and continue today, that they have profoundly marked Italy. Cosa Nostra has always won against the Italian state. They had on their side ministers in charge, the P2 (Masonic lodge), presidents, deviant secret services and even today many old mafia men are still fugitives and command Italy through the corrupt politicians we have (almost all of them). In my opinion, the Cosa Nostra is the most interesting mafia of all and the one that has reached the top. There is a TV series called "Corleone" which talks about Totò Riina, the boss of the bosses, the boss of the Cosa Nostra. I recommend it. The 'Ndrangheta, on the other hand, is today the most powerful because it controls world drug trafficking, has contacts with Mexican cartels and with unsuspected men of power. Little is known about them, and this is their strength. They do not have a single leader, but their organization is more similar to that of the terrorist cells. That is why it is difficult to stop it. Now it is present all over the world, it is no longer just Italian. There is a TV series from the same creators of Gomorrah that talks about it, it's called ZeroZeroZero. As you can understand, as beautiful as Gomorrah The series is, this is the mafia of small fishes, bordering on crime. So you non-Italians, don't believe this is the real mafia. This is the Mafia of Naples, and of all, it is the weakest and most disorganized.

Powinniście dogadać się z włoską telewizją ponieważ to nie jest dokument tylko o Salvatore,to jest dokument o Neapolu,o jego najjaśniejszej osobistościach. i don't usually write comments in english if it's about something related to my native language because i feel like i'm being a bit disrespectful to my origins, (even because most of the time i watch almost only kpop as you can see just from my nickname) but maybe in this way i can get more attention because this artist deserve it. My childhood's country is surrounded by Raffo Art's masterpieces, he's genuinely one the best artists i've ever seen (unfortunately not in person, not yet at least), if you search for his "works" on google images or on his own site you will be amazed by their beauty and realness even if he draw cartoon stuff most of the times, i mean the way he use colors and shades is unreal, i wish more people could notice his talent, cause i think he's one of a kind.

I'M very happy that HBO Max presented the series. I have not been on the edge off a action/drama since HBO presented Rome then Spartacus and Amazon the Expanse. I'm an action junky.....I usually hate watching American action/dramas due to the love factor that takes up the majority of the plot through out the each episode....There is never a dull moment though I'm only on season 2. I have high hope for season 3

Concludendo artisti e parrucchieri/barbieri, secondo me, vanno a braccetto... Ricchi sn i secondi e NON SEMPRE lo sn i primi... ;-)
