I find it amazing how slight rule changes end up with such massive differences in how people fight and interact in-game. I assume growing must be cheap on this server as people seem very fast and loose with very large dinos and rarely peace out of a fight once a body has hit the dirt. I play mostly on one with a body-down rule, which leads to tighter-packed herbi teams and apexes will oftentimes be forced to battle it out with other apexes over food rights. There is also a circle of influence for helping your team- if I see a herdmate in trouble but I was off getting food I have to stand and watch (which sucks) so I appreciate watching the epic saves on your teamates.

So like It’s event. You gotta survive from the dilos, everyone can team up but once you died you gotta be a dilo and join them hunting the survivors. (Everyone but dilos) they’ll stop the event once there’s only 10-12 people are alive and those are the winners. (Dilos have unlimited spawn)

I had a rex sub attack a therra nest that I was herded in as a trike, he ran up on it and tried to kill a young one, I yeeted him. The guy freaked out for 30 solid minutes about how mix packing is against hte rules and that I was not part of the same herd. Upset I kept him from a big meal lol
