I had a MOAB 10 but the CCW pocket was so teensy I could barely get my hand in it, let alone carry a decent weapon in there. This appears to have a larger CCW pocket than the larger model...Plus the buckles on the MOAB 10 squeaked when I had my laptop in it.

Great video on this bag I saw a bunch of KZbin videos and the quality and explanation was just horrible. you affirmed that my purchase was good no buyers remorse. wish I saw this beforehand would have pulled the trigger quicker. I picked this up as a range bag for my Glock 19.

@2brothersadventures. I too have a Glock 23 and am looking at purchasing this bag for my edc bag. I wanted to know if you’re using a holster inside of that pouch or not, and if not have you had any issues with the possibility of a negligent discharge of your pistol. Mine came with additional straps, which were tucked into back pocket. I believe that they are supposed to be attached in order to attached the bag to a larger bag, or to be used as compression straps, but I'm not sure. I know that this video is over 6 years old (today is 20190601), but would you be able to provide some information about these extra straps?

They are to attach to the bigger backpack and makes it modular with he other 5.11 systems.

Not really good for hiking. A backpack is way well balanced on your shoulders and back.

Really nice review of the MOAB 6. How is the long term comfort when wearing it longer than 2 hours? I have heard excellent things about the quality and organization of the MOAB 6, but about a 50/50 split on the comfort aspect. I appreciate any info you can provide on the comfort for long term wear. Gorilla HD 217 I've had this bag for a couple of years and the long-term comfort is so so when you have it weighed down with a good amount of stuff. To counter that problem I added a secondary retention strap that came off a different bag in order to make it have better balance. Using that second strap to out the bag stay tighter on my back when I was running around during travel it made a huge difference. Hope this helps

The main compartment, which is the biggest, is listed as: 10.5" H x 9" L x 5" D. So I don't think this would be the best choice.
