The trinity is a creation of the Roman Catholic Church no matter how Adventist try to present it,it is the same trinity of the Roman Catholic Church, when the godhead is mentioned how many persons are in the godhead? Is the Holy Spirit is this third person,why Christ, Peter, or John never mentioned the Holy Spirit as a third person,John ch 17 ,is a example to study, all the letters of Paul to the believers ,why only two was addressed. Please research the Orgien of the trinity.. The Jesuits brought these Roman Catholic doctrine into the SDA CHURCH,Please mention any of the early founders of adventism that promised the trinity.

Pastor do you mean we have several Gods. Based on that GOD in Genesis 1 vs 1 is plural. How about Elohim is plural of Majesty and not a number? Also is SOP it clearly states : Genesis 1 vs 26 to 27 God the Father says to His Son let us make man in our image. ? How we chose to ignore that Son of God is the Express image of Father, hence IN HIS image denotes the image of GOD THE FATHER. IF US , OUR , ELOHIM denotes several of them , Why stop at 3 ? we can as well keep adding. The more the merrier.

Pastor, I believe we will terribly wrong to assume or even conclude that David was not punished from his multiplying of wives. Scriptures should be studied carefully before we can make comments. Marriage is one of the interesting biblical subjects in scriptures. It is said by scriptures that marrying an unbeliever to your son, the unbelieving wife will introduce your son in following strange gods. Marrying is not necessarily an offense but the consequences have eternal impact. Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. What is the danger in multiplying wives? The Bible answers " that his heart turn not away" we should be concerned always for our spiritual condition. What impact does any decision we make has towards our eternity. Will it cause us to be close to God, to grow in his image or it will separate us from God. We should not be concentrating on now but be concerned of eternity. We have learned from scriptures that it is not possible for one man to love two wives. ( Rachel and Leah). And when God saw that Leah was hated, .... Jacob loved Rachel and hated Leah. Here were speak only of two wives. The hatred towards Leah was clearly seen by the children and later hatred was directed towards the children of Rachel. We read in scriptures that sisters had a fight between themselves. Their object was the to be loved by Jacob and they did all their best to be loved by him, instead of seeking to be loved by God. Their concentration was on earthly things. The hatred and strife in Jacob's household tells us that this was not a household that pleased God. God was not glorified in it. One can see that the sons wanted their father to feel the pain, that they themselves endured for years, of not being seen and loved as Rachel's sons. God had to wrestle with Jacob for Benjamin to fix this mess. Only when Jacob had sacrificed Benjamin for the benefit of the family, the brothers were willing to lay their lives down for Benjamin and even felt the pain of their father for losing a child. 1 Corinthians 7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. An object a married man is to please his wife and imagine if you have plural. The heart will be surely taken away from following God. We are commanded in 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. We must not think of our pleasure but we must seek to please God. To please God is not about God only. Everything that pleases God is for our own good. God permitted David to keep on multiplying wives until he reached a where he added Uriah's wife on his wives. If David did not practice multiplying of wives, he have avoided this. Even if he had not added Uriah's wife, he had a problem of succession and favoritism within a family. All his children believed that they should rule after him and there was going to death, just as in the story of Gideon's son who killed his all his brothers. Marrying many wives has never produced righteousness in totality throughout scriptures. Selfishness and murder are everywhere were this is practiced. It was due to love of multiplying wives that David took Uriah's wife. All forms of evil followed and his own life was threatened. His relationship with his nephews became bad, to an extent that Joab killed his cousin Absalom even when commanded to spare him. If this is not punishment of not listen to God, I know not what punishment is. Pastor the sorrows that David suffered are clear in scriptures and they all emanate from the love of wives.

I thought that the Fit Man is Jesus Himself who is also portrayed as an angel with the key of a bottomless pit binding Satan for 1000 years.
