Someone needs to make a movie about these two guys going back in time and introducing rock music 400 years too early.

The chemistry between them two its just magical.... The production of the video, everything about this video perfect. I ve always wish I was born in the 18th century with all the classical music. But since I discovered this video, I will not trade anything to miss this.

@Josephine Howell I didn't bother looking it up, since I was just making a joke. :l But you're right about bustles not being around at the time- my error. However, corsets were around long before the 19th- they just had a different name.

if you want another band that plays on only cellos check out Apocalyptica. they started out covering Metallica songs, their cover of Nothing Else Matters is absolutely beautiful imo. before moving onto original compositions, which are still really good.

I love the feeling of suppressed rage cellos add to this like a fire slowly burning but then a gallon of gas is added to it out of the blue and that rage just explodes at least that's what I feel when listening to it

i’d like to take a moment to talk about their outfits. they are actually very historically correct, from the red heels on the eggshell coloured shoes, to the perfectly powdered wigs in the audience, and don’t get me started on the stockings! amazingly done in ever aspect of it,

Brilliant "storyline" and direction (musicianship is a given with these two). It would have been good to see the girl in the red dress in better detail. I love how she goes from mild disinterest to real engagement...

To sing along: Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder Thunder, thunder I was caught In the middle of a railroad track (thunder) I looked 'round And I knew there was no turning back (thunder) My mind raced And I thought, what could I do? (Thunder) And I knew There was no help, no help from you (thunder) Sound of the drums Beating in my heart The thunder of guns Tore me apart You've been Thunderstruck Rode down the highway Broke the limit, we hit the town Went through to Texas, yeah, Texas, and we had some fun We met some girls Some dancers who gave a good time Broke all the rules Played all the fools Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds And I was shaking at the knees Could I come again, please? Yeah, them ladies were too kind You've been Thunderstruck, thunderstruck Yeah, yeah, yeah, thunderstruck Ooh, thunderstruck, yeah I was shaking at the knees Could I come again, please? Oh Thunderstruck, thunderstruck Yeah, yeah, yeah, thunderstruck, thunderstruck Yeah, yeah, yeah, said, yeah, it's alright, we're doin' fine Yeah, it's alright, we're doin' fine, fine, fine Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah Thunderstruck, thunderstruck Thunderstruck, whoa, baby, baby Thunderstruck, you've been thunderstruck Thunderstruck, thunderstruck Thunderstruck, you've been thunderstruck

Imagine a 17th century painting of Luka Šulić, standing in front of the crowds, pointing a half broken cello bow on his right hand to them, while holding a half broken cello on his left. Behind him is Stjepan Hauser, laying on a theatre stage, shredding his cello without a care. On the back is the view of the town, and a large theatre on further back, with hundreds of crowds filling the background. The crowds are a mix of angry mobs, the adults and the elderies, and their fans, the childrens and young adults. Now, if there's someone who could paint this as tribute to 2CELLOS, that would be great.

I mean, this version of the song is filled with production effects (distortion in particular) as well as multiple overdubs to get that feel. It would be impossible to perform this exact version live without at least 4 cellos and a bunch of the same technology that AC/DC used to sound like AC/DC.
