Excellent review. Your first test in the pan is the same result I had, and the result most people will get who use a pan. A flat griddle is the only way to make this work, although it is primarily advertised for use with a pan. My test with eggs was also disastrous and they slipped right through the bottom. Keep up the good work!

Girls, that is a priceless review and demonstration!!! I'm waiting on a Flippin' Fantastic to arrive for my wife. In my opinion, Flippin' Fantastic should hire you as a demonstrator of the product!!! All other videos had a bad review but yours showed that you "dug-in" and found the way to use it! The Pam spray, the "leave the Flippin' Fantastic on the pancakes until they are finished cooking. Everyone else tried to remove the device as soon as they flipped it! I will tell my wife NOT to try eggs but the pancakes, brownies and etc. looked PERFECT!!! I want to thank you for this video and please keep this video available FOREVER!!! This will be priceless to other users!

A bagel shop my mom used to work at would make eggs in the oven. that would be my suggestion to fix the egg problem. is crack them into the flipping flopper and put them in the oven to cook them. the ambient temp will cook them and the flipper flopper thing will keep them in place for the right shape.

Thanks for the review! A couple things... I think the pancakes you slightly overfilled. Maybe fill just a little less so they don't stick together next time. As for the eggs on the pan, I think they didn't work because if you watch the video again, the last egg you cracked was the one that didn't finish cooking long enough. So in other ones your first egg will sacrifice itself and overcook a tiny bit to make sure the last one has enough cooking time.

Thank you for the video, I was discouraged after failing on my first try. I'm curious, how long did you leave the pancakes on the griddle for? Also, did you use your own recipe or the recipe from the box?

We left them for about 4-5 minutes before we flipped them, then they cooked for another 2-3 minutes. We just used a box mix. It does take some practice and patience. :) But once you get the hang of it it works pretty well. Hope that helps! Good luck and thanks for watching!

I've used this for eggs. Just mix them like making scrambled eggs and they set better. Plus put the egg between 2 pancakes w/ a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon and a swap of mayo. Mmm mmm mmm. I also wait until a little more bubbles for pancakes before flipping if that helps.

Great review.. you really tryied to make it work.. All other reviews I saw were a total fail even for the pancakes.. For the eggs I think, you should have them all cracked in a bowl ready to pour whenever pan is hot and ready and add one tsp of oil to each compartment.. Now to get them all evenly cooked.. As soon as you have pour all the eggs place a lid and lower the temperature.. they should cook with steam really nice and maintain the round shape.. No need to flip.. 😉

i just bought and did the same thing for the eggs but i am going to try and use it the other way around for the eggs . just seems the correct way. maybe some products it has to be used like that . im going to try it later today. just because i feel like the molding will hold the egg better that way

I think I might buy one of these, and try to do the eggs, with the form upside down. IF it contains the eggs, when they're 2/3 done, I'll just lift it off, and flip with a spatula. A whole bunch of same-size eggs....maybe.

this was not totally truthful... when you cook them up you had to pull them apart and you would have had to trim them up to get nice neat pancakes. So you trimmed up alll of those pancakes!!! You claim the cakes came out good but you never did show ... also the others who showed were giving an honest review.. this is suppose to be non stick, so you should not have to add oil.. you did... no where does it state to spray the pan or things stick super band and you will not get them out!!!! For five bucks.. would it not just be easier to put the batter on the griddle with a ladle so you can get tiny cakes of same size and work it that way... less mess and less fuss
