Is the fan on top of the switch cluster/panel there for cooling some type of electronics?

I think for the driver actually - does get bit hot in there.

Its to keep the windscreen fog free if it rains, there's no heater system.

Great driving with though competition!!! the gearbox pattern seems somehow modified, or an I wrong?

Gearbox pattern is standard 2cv.
