I fully agree, I´ve received various messages of buyers over the years, who wrote all in bliss, that it makes them sooo happy, to see "their" car carrier, which finally will bring their new purchased car. Obviously the traders send the car´s papers to the buyer, in which are also included infos about from which seaport, on which date and name of the car carrier the new dream car will be travelling with.

How long does it tak to load the ship and how many vehicles and how many drivers bring the cars in?

I´m sorry that I can not offer the desired info, because these ships unsually don´t arrive empty in Emden nor leave us fully loaded. They use to travel along the coast, bring and take im-/export vehicles in various seaports, one of which is ours. So whatever I can observe is of no use to answer your question. Similar problem with the number of drivers. They are collected from the ship with little busses and being brought back to the parking lot, where they jump into the next cars. Drive them up to the car carrier and same procedure as before. So there might be 20 drivers as well as 40, unfortunately I have not a clue.

@@amSeehafen that is ok. All good. TO me, it is amazing what they do and how they do it. I saw another video, and it is like 40 drivers!! In the news, i read where last week, one of these ships caught on fire in transit in the middle of the Atlantic, and there were 4000 VW and Porsche on board. SOme of the vehicles were electric vehicles, and there is speculation that those large lithium batteries may have caused the blaze.

@@porsche1971 Exactly, these lithium batteries seem to be of hellish danger. I will never understand, why nobody seems to take proper care of the problem, before they develop and sell one e-car after the other. They are extremely dangerous on car carriers in park houses, when they are sitting in a garage integrated into a house, etc ... Frightfull! I am so relieved, that they even could save the entire crew. I have filmed this ship 3 times here in Emden, and now such horror!

Sorry, found your question no earlier. Beetle is not made in Germany, only Emden Port is one of the places from where and to which cars are distributed all over the globe.

Ja, jeder Wagen wird einzeln verlascht. Interviews gibts keine, weil ich kein Reporter bin, sondern Hobbyfilmer. Das ganze Areal ist auch Sicherheitszone uund darf nur mit Sonderausweisen betreten werden. Hätte ich garkeinen Zugang zu.
