5:20 - It's August 7th, 2020, and they have *not* fixed it later. You still have to minimize the window and select the child. Glad you mentioned this step, because I was quite stumped as to why I couldn't create a bone. Cheers.

When i want to apply auto geometry on sliced sprites, it does not apply to all body parts. Only applies to chest which has the root bone. How can i apply geometry & weight to sliced sprites?

This is perfect and concise, the only tutorial that shows us how to use meshes. Just a quick question does topology matter on 2D sprites? Curious if I should just use what it gives me or edit it. Also any idea on how to make things attached to objects bounce or move in the physics engine independently? Asking for a friend.

My sprite doesn't have the child the same way you have, how do I create one?

select your sprite, and in the Import Settings (Inspector window) change the Texture Type drop down to "Sprite (2D and UI)"

That was Macromedia Flash 8, it's really old, from before Adobe bought Flash, so there was no subscription fee

I can't see the bones when i bring my character into the scene. They are listed in the hierachy. What did I miss.

after you added a "Sprite Skin" you clicked the "create bones" button? That should just make them magically appear, otherwise I'm not really sure. If they are in the hierarchy they exist... maybe the gizmos drop down in the scene window has something set to make them not visible? Strange..
