Thank u Larry for the video. Where can we see the cost per unit after a shipment is optimized by the software?
@WatchMeAmazon6 ай бұрын
You can’t because it’s not in amazons current API. As soon as it is, we’ll show it. For now, complete your shipment in 2DWF, and then you can open it in SC where it will show the fees

Does this work well with people selling books? one sku per item, a box typically with 40 sku's per box?

Hey Larry, Thanks for the video, do you think this feature will make it more common for shipments to be split? and then we would simply have to optimize them? thanks!
@WatchMeAmazon7 ай бұрын
We have nothing to do w the initial batch of proposed shipments from Amazon
@MrExpatriate7 ай бұрын
last example, the divided units were 420 but the optimized shipment is actually more 496. can I now edit this 496 optimized number to the actual 420 and keep it on one shipment?
@WatchMeAmazon7 ай бұрын
In the working shipment you can edit down the SKUs by 5% or 6 units to get closer to 420

what if you ONLY have 420? @@WatchMeAmazon

Can I still reconcile my shipment and see the discrepancies in the SC ? Just curious also what changes in the labelling ?

I created the Shipment for 1 small box through 2d workflow. The shipment label generated does not show UPS ground information on the label. Why is that ? How I am going to ship that box ?

I am beyond confused as to how this speeds up my shipping process. In the past I would pack my boxes FULL, note what was in each box, and then simply enter it into amazon and purchase shipping labels. With 2D workflow I find myself running into multiple problems along the way. When I want to ship X quantity, and then click optimize, it will then either remove units from my box (leave empty space in a box that is already packed) or it will add units to my box (which I don't even have nor would I have room for because the box is already packed full). I don't understand how someone can pack boxes efficiently and also use the optimize feature. Can you help me out here as to how I can avoid these problems using 2D?
@WatchMeAmazon6 ай бұрын
I will elaborate more later, but try prepping and packing in the workflow and entering box content while you prep in a working shipment. No point to pack everything first and then do the working shipment workflow afterwards
@adambonk23426 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean by prepping and packing in the workflow. I'm not actually taping my boxes up, rather just filling them, counting the units and then entering that in the workflow. I then go to optimize and usually get spit back a number of units that should be added or subtracted. The end result is that I am now caught in a situation of never having a perfectly full packed box
@adambonk23426 ай бұрын
I figured out that I am able to adjust the box quantity within 5% or 6 units? - something like that. This helps a lot

Hey dude... please feel free to reach out to me directly and I can always help you make the best use of the tool. Also check out help.2dworkflow.com... we have step by steps instructions for everything Lastly, theres a bunch of different workflows that one can use with 2DWF... the key is kind of underestanding what the software can do and figuring out how to make the best use of it for your business. For my business, the absolutely fastest way to prep and pack FBA shipments is to do all of my prep in the WORKING SHIPMENT stage... i'm not packing or prepping any items that are not in a working shipment... Hope that helps a little @@adambonk2342

By not creating all of the proposed shipments aren't we risking damage to our shipment creation privileges?

No. Amazon deletes them in 48 hours.

@@WatchMeAmazon Great software, I read that letting some of your proposed shipments expire is against TOS? Is this true?
@WatchMeAmazon5 ай бұрын
@@NeoColormadness letting plans expire is not against TOS. What Amazon has been against for many, many years now is when you have a batch of plans, and you actually ship one of them, while not shipping the others and letting those expire. That has been their stance for almost 10 years now I think, but sellers still did it all the time. I’ve never heard of anyone ever getting a policy violation from Amazon for this ever. More recently, they said they will charge placement fees on a shipment if you ship one of the plans, but not the others. So far they haven’t charged anyone yet, I dunno if they actually will, but you have to operate with the assumption that they definitely might, because that’s what they said they will do.
