I can see this becoming a movie plot. Thirty couples ranging from just retired to nearly 💀 decide to live out their golden years on a cruise ship. But the cruise ship goes off course. They run into pirates, who ravage the vessel for anything they can eat. The cruise-goers band together to learn how to fish, and become quite good at it. But not everyone wants to work for food. This was supposed to be their retirement. They begin to turn on one another. As time goes on, people begin 💀 ing, one by one. Nobody knows what- or who- is causing the disappearances…

@elliot-sowdon2 ай бұрын
To explain why cruises are cheaper than a lot of land based living options; 1. The same company controls everything on board and buys all the stuff in bulk. 2. The staff is payed terribly. 3. They do not offer the kind of medical care you would expect in a nursing home. Living on a cruise ship really only makes financial sense when compared to assisted living, (where old people get non medical assistance with their day to day lives) or to constantly traveling around as a digital nomad (someone who works online and roams the world since their job isn’t tied to a location.) Otherwise, you will probably run into problems.

You can live in your personal fantasy for ever, nothing remains, nothing is remembered or built upon, it's almost like you don't... exist.... anymore.. but don't have to worry about life at all, expectations, meetings with family, the myriad of individual tasks you now how to complete by yourself, and exist.
