I’m not even Korean but this gave me goosebumps and feelings that shook me to the core. Like what siyoon said ... it only takes one step to be in North Korea but the fact that they can’t take that one step is what makes it really feel so real. This episode is probably one of the most meaningful episode of k variety show. Thank you so much 2Days 1Night for doing this. Thanks PDnim and every staffs also thanks to the cast for explaining and describing the feeling they had. You guys moved overseas fans like me. Thanks to this I realized how important the unification is and how important my family is. I couldn't thank you enough for doing all this. I've been a fan for over 8 years and will keep being so because 2Days 1Night teach me a lot including manner,knowledge,funny jokes and especially the history of Korea and not to forget about the food. I wonder what the North Korean soldiers were thinking during that whole time. And seeing how the 2D1N team wanted to smile at them and acknowledge them but weren't able to, that was saddening to see. As Siyoon said, all of that made the division between them felt so "real". I hope peace will come to them and they will be reunified as one Korea soon. It's really heartbreaking to see how close they are to each other but yet, they can't reach out to each other. And seeing the separated families, I can't even imagine how they feel. May they be reunited with their loved ones soon. This is certainly one amazing episode, I can't even describe it. Well done, 2D1N team!

I cried like a river watching the episodes. It makes me nervous all through out. This will be a meaningful episodes that you will not forget and will always make you remember. Just like Siyoon said " It only takes one step to be in North Korea. And also they have same language to communicate. It makes it real why can't they. They wanted to say Hi and smile to them, just by that but they can't because of division the two had... it's so heartbreaking to watch. I wanted to know what's on the mind of North Korean soldier there watching them from outside the meeting room. I wonder what are their thoughts. It would be great if only they can freely talk to each other. I hope and pray that North and South Korea will be reunited as ONE COUNTRY, ONE KOREA. Where they can play and hang out together. This episode struck a personal note with me. I am from West Bengal, the Indian part of the formal Bengal province that was divided between India and Pakistan during India's partition (1947). My parents are first generation immigrants from Bangladesh (formerly East Pakistan, i.e. the part of Bengal that went to Pakistan). But I and my parents are at least allowed to visit our family on the other side of the border since there has been little to no dispute between India and Bangladesh since Bangladesh' independence (1971). I can not even imagine the pain members of separated families on either side of the NK-SK border are suffering, especially the older ones. I hope the political complication ends in their lifetime and they get to see their homes again. War does nothing but make innocent people suffer.

I remember the first time I watched this episode made me feel emotional as hell. North Korea was the reason I started learning about South Korea. I've watched so many documentaries on DPRK and read so many books. And besides SHINee, this show was my first experience of ROK.

This is what I love about 2D1N. Their episodes are really educational and interesting. I was extremely fascinated when they actually went to Panmunjeom and stepped inside that blue room. It’s sad that they weren’t able to communicate with the soldiers which is understandable since they are technically on duty, but like what Siyoon said, that being there you could actually feel that their division was real. And, hopefully one day both sides will unite again and be able to talk with each other as many long too.

This episode was just a lot meaningful. I am not from Korea but seeing how you are just separated although living on the same land. It just breaks your heart. I honestly cried a lot. I am glad 2 days and 1 night did this episode. To begin with even I didn't care about what was going on in South of in North, but after watching this episode. I realized how many people must have wishes in their heart of meeting their family. Being away from someone you love, it is honestly the most painful thing anyone can ever go through. This is such a moving episode! It proved to me yet again that 2Days 1Night is more than just a funny variety show... it has a lot of heart! To all the people who made this happen, you all did a phenomenal job! The part that moved me the most is from 1:09:29 to 1:10:00. Praying for peace and unity, not just for them, but for the world. Im back here again to appreciate this episode. This episode is one of the reasons why 2D1N is the best variety show in South Korea. It's humane, has comedy, has entertainment and it's emotionally rich with interactions from the main casts, the staff and the citizens. 15 years ago when J Pop rules this part of the world and Kpop and the whole k-wave was unheard of, I backpacked South Korea, the country known to my friends as 'the one having zeros and lines in their language' back then. I travelled from Seoul to Mokpo to Jeju. Yet I missed my tour to DMZ because the ajuma of the B&B place I was putting up didn't notify me of the transport that was waiting! I couldn't have asked for a better 'tour'! It's been 15 years! Massive THANK YOU 2 days 1 night, casts, crew and PDnim! I think this is one of the best 2D1N episode, and I hope the next best episode will be shoot in United Korea. Historical trips on this show are always give me goosebumps even if I am not Korean, and weirdly it makes me think of my own country. What a heartbreaking yet fascinating era we live in now.
