Thanxz, well the blue 74 leds replace all the ones in the cluster and a few in the console and under dash, the neo-x leds replace the ones in the buttons like the cruise, brights, control, mirrors switch etc..

Just finished doing my gauge cluster on my 97 GSX, LED are useless unless you pull the needles and sand all the gauges, Make sure you take photos of your needles where they sit before you pull them off, I used a part of pliers to get them off just pull straight off, Pulling the needles is the worst part for not having your rpm or mph set properly, Took around 2 hours to do the gauge cluster fully apart and back together first time, Take your time.

Omg, amazing. I've been looking for examples of eclipse dashboard led conversions and yours seems to be the cleanest. One thing i'm wondering is how it's going to look if i did all red? Since i'm painting my GSX Candy Red, i wanted to follow the color of the car. Probably not the best idea so maybe i'll do blue. Idk, but i love this! You have a beautiful clean car for sure!

Thanxz and actually the auto's are known to get into the 8's on the stock tranny with just a little upgrading. They are vey strong, Some manuals go to no lift shift, autos just keep pulling till you let off, no lag in shifting :) I am in the process of putting in a custom T3 setup with my hybrid HX40/35 turbo in right now. Should be done towards end of month and I will upload a video when its all done. Thanks again for watching and subscribe for more updates on the car.

Hey @Daniel Villalobos it won't let me reply to your comment, hope you see this. You needed to remember where the needles were when you took them off and gently press them back on, not press hard or all the way down or they won't move. The best way to get the speedo right on is with gps that has speed on it or use link. Do you remember where your car idled at when it was warmed up? Start the car let it warm up and then put the needle to where it normal idles at in park or neutral if manual. PM me if you still having trouble.

Ok how do the needles come off do they just pull straight up and off or ? I dont want to break them, I put in new leds and was so upset that they couldn't shine threw the damn coating on the back then found this video oh ya.. Sand it off ! A soft cloth or napkin and a fork...yes a fork. You place the napkin down close to the needle to protect the gauge face and then take a fork and go under the needle and pry up on it softly and it will pop off. Just remember where your needles were!!! Or when you put them back on they will be way off. Best to test it when you put them back on. Really the only accurate ones and the ones you need is speedo and tach. When you put them back on you don't have to use a lot of pressure either. Oh when you take them off be sure not to spin the pin it sits on either.

I have a 3G Eclipse (Spyder GTS 2005) and I just changed my dashboard lights yesterday, gonna change my AC lights too but also wanna change my fog light switch color to match it all up (the clock too). I can't seem to find out how to switch the fog light switch color.

Can I use other color LEDs..? Like purple? How would I know which ones to get? And also how did you change the color on the mirror control and cruise control switches? Do those just swap out from the bulb?

You can get any color that they offer for that size LED. The bulb description is in the video. You can get them all at superbrightleds.com. The mirror controls and cruise do just switch out but are a pain the ass. You won't be able to get two of the lights out of the cruise though (the on off ones) I just painted over them so they don't light up. Just the cruise does.

Evil98GSX Okay, that makes sense, and do you know how many of each type of bulb you used? And which type went where? Also one last thing- since you have to take off the gauge needles for this, do you have to remember how they were pointed for when you put them back on? Like lets say I had a full tank of gas when I took out my gauge cluster but before I put it back on I moved the needle and aimed it towards empty... would it automatically correct itself and move back to full or would it be messed up and show the wrong amount of gas I got?

It took me two days cause of work, but you could do it in one day easy. Just got to take your time and do it right the first time. I can't remember but I think it was around 17 maybe a couple more. 11 74's and 6 NEOx bulbs About the redline I think it would just make half of it light up red, buts its worth a try :) Thanks for the sub.

Hey man, I recently did the gauge cluster lights, a good way to determin the positioning of the tacho and speedo is to lift the needle over the pin, and look at the vanilla position. trust me, it wont even be close to breaking. BUT, i still have the rest of the lights to fix, So i wonder, Did you need to sand of any orange from the climate controll, sidemirror controlls and such? or is changing the blub enough? (i did sand the gauge part) Excuse my english, far from my native language.

Yes its all plug and play, there is just a couple led's you have to sand the sides down to fit but other than that its just a simple bulb replacement.

+Jessica Lee If you just take your time you should be alright. This is a custom thing so I don't know who could do it for you. Maybe a custom stereo place like Auto One. They do lighting in cars all the time and this is very similar. But they are going to charge you a lot cause of all the labor.

7 you'll need the rest are for dash lights unless you want blue turn signals and such, Also they can be found on EBAY called T5 led they just replace the factory bulb.

You have to remove the bezel for the radio and heater controls, remove the radio and the heater controls. There is one light on the top to swap out with a new led.

Evil98GSX except you have zero control over what gear your in. not to mention torque converters just eat up your powerband. Also in most cars they start blowing up around 3-400 horsepower. Another thing there are a few types of manuals for use in cars. The standard H-pattern manual Is quick enough if you develop some skill with it but there is a faster option that makes shift time an fraction of a second with little skill. That's a sequential transmission. I don't mean the shitty flappy paddles like in mini coopers or the automatics where you can tap the shifter and it shifts(those still have torque converters and are autos). A true sequential Is similar to a motorcycle. still have a clutch for the downshifts but for upshift just let off the throttle slightly and shift up. Exactly the same as a clutch-less shift on a motorcycle.

TheMack1718 Well I have a fully built trans by TRE, KIggly, & IPT and a built Precision Industries torque converter with a 3500 stall with the tune it allows the car to shift a full pressure every time. Also I'm getting a shift box allowing you to manual shift the car up and down when you want. Autos are freakin awesome if you know what you are doing. Also my stock trans before having it built handled 400hp just fine :) There is a reason why a lot of people are switching to autos now, they are seeing the potential.
