Except Fox has way better neutral tools than Wario. Gluto is the player that has to work harder here because he doesn't have a character with broken ground movement, usmash, and a nair that's basically a free approach button.

My problem with Wario waft is that it's much like Cloud's Limit Break in that it's a game-changer and can end stocks much sooner or even be used as an emergency recovery but the issue is that he keeps it going into his next stock unlike Cloud who loses meter. If feel waft should also be reset upon stock loss and to balance this the waft timer can be cut down a bit rather than 2 minutes for full waft.

The half waft mechanic actually encourages players to use it and wait for full waft because it comes out faster and deals more knockback. While the full waft compensates the loss speed with some armor on the move.

It was disgusting and a perfect example of why Waft needs adjustments. It's a mechanic that allows players to suddenly win even if they were losing the entire game. Same with Arsene. Mechanics rewarding players for losing shouldn't exist in a competitive game.

@@DemonEyeHelix joker gaining arsene via hitting people would be even more busted then how it is currently. especially with the early percent combo potential he has. there are games i beat people so badly i never get arsene, now flip that scenario. give me arsene for just playing the game, and youll truly know what broken is. Also rebels guard is a commitment and you can die for it. gaining it via hitting you would just be super low risk.

@@Kaze91 Regardless of how Arsene's meter is filled, he lasts way too long. 30 Seconds - some time if Joker gets hit is ridiculous, especially considering hitting arsene Joker is trying to contest with dedede sized hitboxes that come out at sheik speed. Arsene is literally like if Cloud's Limit lasted 30 seconds and wasn't a one time use during that duration. Arsene should last 10-15 seconds max so at least camping it out is a viable option.

@@DemonEyeHelix he has alot of counter play already. Cloud doesnt lose limit by getting hit. It only last 30 seconds if you run from him. Some characters can deplete his gauge in 2 attacks. It does matter how its filled because hitting someone is something you do anyway. Taking damage at least is not beneficial for you in general besides arsene. Hes good but its not like peach pikachu snake and palu are any fairer.

Nah gluto just stopped uptilting after getting punished for it once and his edgeguards were really bad for someone at his level. Fox offstage should be free but he just wasnt going out there.
