Mirage yeah Luigi’s are kind of forced to do that in this game without cyclone obviously but more importantly I feel as if (and I haven’t looked it up) Luigi’s up b travels a further distance so it’s actually not as bad as it seems to go so low

its probably because there aren't many scenarios where elegant puts himself into the position where he is forced to recover, because that can usually lead to a free edgeguard, and dropping low might not turn out well for him if hes touched before his jump reaches its max height, which is a free gimp

the spike is pretty busted though. Hits through the stage and huge hitbox

But only if you land it properly. Pandarian doesn't even always get it. Many times he doesn't even attempt because the timing is off or the way they recover. And when he does try it it's like he only hits 1/3 of the time at best. But it's so satisfying when it does hit. You can't really consider a move broken unless everybody is choosing that character and winning by doing that one move over and over. Frankly I didn't even know about the spike until I saw him do it. I never have seen any trainers online trying to do it. @@bladeflesh
