Law of averages pretty much makes them even because while Lucina can't tip her kill power is more consistent cause you don't have to sweet spot against fast characters who can get in quick on you or compete with your aerials. They should be in the same spot, just like other clones.

Nairo's Lucina lost neutral in game 3 and 4, primarily because ZeRo adjusted and started using fair to beat out Lucina's jump - sh fair. Diddy's fair comes out waaay faster than Luci's. However, Marth/Lucina's Ftilt beats out any aerial approach option Diddy has in every way. Nairo may have started trying to use it more by the last game, but it was too late. Nairo could have done it, it was an amazing attempt. Also, Marth is high tier, not top. Lucina is mid tier.

This may be slightly unrelated to what you're saying, but Nairo has stated in his streams he prefers Lucina to Marth just because he likes how Lucina strings hits together more while with Marth there's a chance a random tipper will send them flying away. Basically, Nairo likes doing with Lucina that combo he did to ZeRo on Duck Hunt rather than Marth's tippers.

ZeRo admits that he hasn't completely figured out the Marth/Lucina matchup yet. But he recently won his rematch with Mr. E at Shine and has now beaten Nairo's surprise Lucina here. Nairo can get better with the character, but he won't ever have the surprise factor again (which was a big contributor in winning game 2 here) and ZeRo will only figure out the matchup more, if he hasn't (seemingly) figured out most of it already. We'll see at The Big House.
