I just want to show some appreciation for you guys. Thank you for always being real with your vlogs. I feel like lately so many international couples make obnoxious videos just to garnish views and it’s so forced that it’s borderline cringe. I love your videos because it’s real day to day mundane life (in a good way I promise) ❤️

Would love a video talking about Sarah’s Korean learning journey. It’s clear that she can understand it fairly well, particularly in vlogs featuring one or both of Kyuho’s parents, but we only get a few words here and there. 🙂

Hello Sarah, Kyuho, and Beemo! You've been very kind to share so much about your lifestyle in your blogs. I'm interested about the ways people in Korea are creatively passing the time during the pandemic. It might be similar to things people do here in the United States, but the people of Korea might have even more good ideas! I've been doing more knitting and crocheting. Some of my friends have been sewing facemasks for family and friends. A lot of people I know have been learning about baking bread, especially sourdough bread. A few friends are learning new languages through online courses. Thanks for your wonderful videos!

Questions for teaching video: What made you want to do it? What grade(s) did you teach? What was your favorite memory (something funny or that stuck with you)? How did it change you? What made you stop? How did you handle 'discipline' when a student is acting up? I want to be an eng teacher in Korea so that is something I have especially been wondering about. Like what to do when they are being too loud or disruptive. Idk is discipine is the word used- idk if that makes it sound too harsh. What was most difficult about it and what was most rewarding (was there a specific moment?) Any regrets?

Hi Sarah, Hi Kyuho! What a beautiful addition to your home! Our Korean neighbors left a beautiful dark wood cabinet out at the curb, when they moved out years ago. Hubby and I went over there, and brought it home. We still use it to this day. Thank you for sharing your hike in the snow. I found it so interesting, that the baked goods at your favorite cafe, are out in the open, during this pandemic. At our Asian bakeries, everything that used to be out in the open, are now individually wrapped here in the US. I think a Q&A about your years of teaching and Kyuho’s life while in KATUSA is a great idea! My question(s) would be..... Sarah, what grade did you teach, and how difficult was it to communicate with your students and other teachers, if you were not fluent in Korean language at that time. Kyuho, how did you get selected for KATUSA? Aside from being fluent in English, how does one go about getting selected? Do you go through extensive training? More so than regular army training?

Hey guys! I just want to say hi and love your channel. I’ve been watching since you started because I’d been teaching in Korea for 3 years and had returned home to the UK. Your channel gives me a slice of Korea in my week. I recently gave birth and look forward to some quiet time every Sunday while my husband has our little girl and I can catch up on your vlogs. I don’t have questions but I’d definitely love to see Sarah do a video on her experience of teaching in a private academy in Seoul so I could see how it compares to my experience in Yeosu, and because it will probably bring back lots of memories. I’m sure it will help a lot of people who are considering teaching in Korea as well. Love what you guys do! Keep it up and stay safe 🙌🏼

ABOUT THE SCHOOL QUESTIONS; 1) What are the hours like? 2) How does it work for holidays? 3) Do you have unions? 4) Is there anything you regret not doing at the time to make life easier? 5) Was it easy to get into a school in Seoul? 6) Were you able to practice korean in your free time with work colleagues 7) If you needed to leave for emergencies - could you?

I definitely have questions about teaching! Really looking forward to your video on the topic! How stressful was your teaching experience day to day? Did you feel much pressure or judgement from staff/parents? How hard was it to keep on top of the curriculum, and was the standard/progress of your teaching assessed (e.g. by testing the students, self reporting etc.)? What kind of hours did you work, and did you have any other job/side project you were working on while teaching? Is there much variety between teaching positions in different schools (in terms of what you have to do, what hours you work, what pay/benefits you get)? Do Korean schools look for a particular kind of person (e.g age range, nationality, background, specific skills) when hiring? Hope that isn't too many questions 👀😅 I'm graduating from my bachelors as a mature student next year (will be on the verge of turning 30 when I graduate) and I would love to try out teaching english in Korea...but i'm not sure if it's seen as more of a younger person's job or if it would be seen as strange for me to apply aged 30! I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. But in general the interpersonal stuff with the school/staff/parents is definitely the thing that I'm most curious about!

Last week it was -16° here and today it is +16° and sunshine. It's crazy, I hope spring is coming and winter won't just come back again suddenly. 1) As the others I am also curious which students you are teaching, Sarah. Is it always the same class/ group of people or does it change frequently? 2) Do you have to prepare lessons yourself or do they give you materials that you have to work with? 3) Do you get paid per lesson or like monthly paid? About KATUSA 1) First of all, I wanna know your funny/cool stories about your time there, Kyuho! :) 2) How long have you been on duty? Could you go home at some time as like "free-time"? 3) Was your time there hard for you like mentally or physically or maybe both? Hope you guys have a good night's sleep and that you can start freshly into the new week. :) ♥

I was stationed in Korea twice and would love to see a video about your time as a KATUSA

I am finishing my BA in education and will probably get my Masters before I come to Korea. Will I even be able to use that education for an actual teaching position? Maybe in a international school. I assume I will able be an assistant but I’m getting all my education now so that when we return to US after Korea I can go directly into a teachers position in the states. What hours did you work? What responsibilities did you hold? Interested in anything you want to share. Love your videos. I always end them smiling!! Stay warm❤️

That shelf looks brand spankin new! Can't believe someone would throw that away! I think I would've donated it with other stuff if I was in that position, but glad you got your hands on it! Looks great! Would absolutely love to hear some stories about you teaching English. Like how was it like? Was it difficult trying to teach kids who's first language isn't English and how was it working with a co-teacher and how did they help you? KATUSA stories would be awesome too! Did you get different training (like boot camp, stuff like that) from other soldiers that are just normal enlistees that are there to serve their 20 months? Would you have rather just been another enlistee or was KATUSA definitely the way to go since you can speak English too?
