My guess would be that it was cheaper as it is a local boarding school. The American school he went to later is probably expensive. He probably also thought an immersion programme would be good to learn a new language. Good that his dad managed to send them to the American school where he had a more international experience.

It broke my heart, when you mentioned having to be a vegetarian for 2 months, because we all know, how much you love meat and eggs. Can I just say wow!!!! Dancing Lee is amazing! So interesting to hear! I’m from India and have many questions :) How did your mom manage to make Korean food in India? Some of your favourite places in Delhi? Did you travel elsewhere in India? Are you in touch with your friends from school? Did you learn a little bit of Hindi? Would love to hear your parents’ experience too! Really incredible that you gave so many important exams in a foreign language! 5 years is quite a bit of time. So glad you went to the American Embassy school which must be such an upgrade and better fit for you! Can only imagine how hard and confusing it must be in the boarding school. Well done, Kyuho! Also it’s so interesting how you lived abroad for a lot of your early years and now you’re back home and Sarah is living abroad! :D

I actually have a similar experience. I had to move to Taiwan when I lived all my life in Africa when I was in 9th grade. It was a hard journey because I didn’t speak Chinese nor English. Did Kyuho go back to South Korea during holidays when he was in India?
