I live here in Korea too, but in Daegu! Sooo, it's not as cold as Seoul, thankfully! Still, winter season really hits me hard on my mood/mental health. I'm just not used to this weather (I'm from a tropical country T_T ). Thank you for always taking care of the kitties ♡ I hope winter is over soon !

I've lived in Sweden for over 10 years and I'm still too American to leave my things unattended in a cafe! That exhibit was really something special--I'd love to see something like that. We have a similar Van Gogh exhibit in Stockholm but it's not nearly this unique. My husband and I keep talking about planning our big trip to Korea & Japan but other things get in the way. I'm hoping that we finally do it before I start my PhD. This year is our 10th anniversary and it would have been nice to do it this year but then 2NE1 had to go and announce a comeback tour so we're waiting on dates so we can visit my family in the US, two birds and all. Every time you guys go to Shinsegae I'm super jealous, I honestly don't know how y'all can control yourselves.

It has been cold here too, it was -19C the other morning, we've gotten a ton of snow too (yay!) but it's warming up and going to melt in the coming week. The art museum was A MAZ ING!!! Art galleries and museums are places I absolutely love seeing anywhere I go if I get the opportunity. I am sorry I couldn’t have been there too 😭😭😭. All those used books 🥰🥰🥰 I love used book stores the stuff you can find is so good!! Found some choose your own adventure books they were in brand new condition. We have the most amazing used book store close to use and I love going in there, but it’s dangerous to go all the time 😆. Thank you for taking me along with you today it was a blast!! ♥️♥️♥️

We visited Korea and Seoul first time in December 2015, I have never been so cold as I was then. Thermals under pants and bought ear muffs from Lotte 🥶🥶🥶🥶we come from Brisbane Australia so our winters are mild. Next visit for us in November this year. I have checked out the Seoul pass and will definitely be getting that for our stay in Seoul. Cheers.

Exhibit so well done in Seoul. I think you can only see the Van Gogh or Monet separately and no balcony here. I have a copy of Crying in HMart too, but haven’t read. Sarah I’m not sure if you know, but Michelle Zauner is in Korea writing the sequel about her year discovering her Mother’s homeland.

@ Her first book was a best seller so the publisher gave her a deal to write a second book. She and her band are on hiatus for a year for that reason. Wouldn’t it be cool if she did a show in Korea to celebrate the end of the year? Btw I believe Crying in Hmart got optioned for a film. There are some good podcasts with Zauner including one with Conan O’Brien.

Oh wow, very cool!! We loved it so much-Kyuho’s colorblind sunglasses are meant to be worn and work the best in bright sunlight outdoors, so the exhibit would have been a bit too dark for him had he work them in there. He still really enjoyed it though, the scale was enormous 🤯
