Just got one of these today. I got into looping around 1983, Digitech 2 sec looper lol. We thought that was mindblowing. So it’s great to have one in modular format, and performance friendly, powerful features. Quick test run of this module was epic.

I really didn't need any more modules for my wishlist, but you completely sold me on it. There a lot of functionality in 2hp!

can I clock it? wouldve been great to see an example of a cv plugged into that input!

hi - love the explanations - But rather confused regards the FripperT..... am I correct: play 'input' and record. STOP to create loop length.... when I press record again - do I start the original input again? (new to all this).
@brucelev3 жыл бұрын
Very helpful, thanks. One question. What's the behavior when you clear the buffer? Does it complete playing the current loop cycle or fade?
@SageCircuits3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! It cuts it off the loop as soon as you clear the buffer - no fade or completion of the buffer.

Need a fade? Reverb my dude.

Cool - but can the loop be triggered by a sequencer? I'm not seeing how this could be sync'd up with other modules.
@SageCircuits3 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t have a button or input for play/stop. It can be lined up by putting a clock into the record but it needs a gate to start the record and stop the record. With a quick hand you could unplug or mute the gate signal once you have recorded your loop.

@@SageCircuits maybe they could add a feature where if you held the record button down it would disable the input record socket (record led could blink) instead of unplugging a cable?
@Rafaelfo.3 жыл бұрын
great demo, thanks. there is some clipping in the frippertronics section, is that the module or your recording? cheers!
@SageCircuits3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The clipping is on the input of the Loop. I believe I had the input gain all the way up. Set to about 3 O’clock there’s no clipping.

can anyone suggest a similar module to this, but with stereo in and out?

Just buy two loop modules? They're tiny

I’m not entirely sold on this. There are useful features (the gate-controlled start/stop is essential imho), but it only really has two functions- sound-on-sound and Frippertronics- and the latter can be done by the Mimeophon, which I already have. I’m not sure I need sound-on-sound to the tune of £130… That said, nice demo- even though I’m now confused!
