They don't really care about window tint; they just use it to ID people in the vehicle! Smart passengers would know their rights, and respectfully tell the officer who asks for their ID, usually in a way that many believe they must give it to them, or be arrested, that they were taught that vehicle stops only involve the driver, and passengers do not have to give their ID, unless they broke some law. Then ask if they are demanding your ID, on threat of being pulled from the vehicle and handcuffed, and threatened with arrest? Ask them if their PD has a policy to violate passenger's 4th amendment rights, by arresting them for obstruction or another made up, retaliatory, false charge, if passengers know and exercise their rights. Do they have a policy to retaliate against the driver, by piling on false charges, because the passengers know they are not required to ID or answer questions? (Best thing you can do is respectfully tell them you don't answer question....that includes the driver!) Tell them, if that's how this PD operates, and they tell you that you are required to ID, as passengers, you should ID, and deal with your complaint later. You need to make sure they know it's a violation of your rights, even suggest they call the town attorney or an upper level PD command staff, to make sure they can demand IDs from passengers, who didn't break any laws!!! They could save the city and PD alot of money in a lawsuit, by checking before violating citizen's rights!! Drivers need to learn to keep proof of insurance and registration above the visor over the steering wheel! If stopped by police, let the officer tell you why they stopped you. When they start in on the where have you been? and where are you heading? Politely tell them you've been taught to not answer questions without a lawyer present!

I think we should decriminalize weed everywhere BUT, a lot of the times if you have a small amount they either give you a warning or just a citation. Most of these guys are trying to run which then gives them extra charges and time in jail or they are selling it which is even more illegal.

If my baby was hungry I didn't risk his life by taking him out of the car seat i would go sit next to him in the back seat and hold his bottle while he ate he never had to leave the car seat while it was being driven, that's just common sense.
