2hrs Write/Study With Me | Pomodoro 25/5 | Working On My Novel Outline | Nature Sounds | No Music |

Welcome to a 2 hour writing session. Today I'm outlining my new novel, in a fresh notebook, at the dining table. There will be 4, 25 minute sessions and 3, 5 minute breaks. I prefer to write long-hand for two reasons: 1) I grew up writing stories on old spiral bound notebooks so somehow the ideas flow more naturally 2) Neil Gaiman writes his first drafts in long-hand. If it's good enough for one of my favorite contemporaries, then it is certainly good enough for me. Writing can be lonely and heavy, carrying so much creativity by yourself. Even though some may prefer it this way, I think community is important. And here, at this little video, even if this is a solo career, we can work on our careers together.
