The Ethiopian crepe is called injera. It’s like a sourdough flatbread. You use it similar to the fufu…as a vessel to pick up the stew.

And the crunchy things were little “French fries” indeed, it is called batata palha (palha is pronounced “palya”), roughly translated as “straw potato”. Also, the “fried chicken dumpling” is called coxinha (“little thigh”) and is pronounced co-shi-nya. It’s one of the most popular, if not THE most popular, party snacks in Brazil.
